[Termes IGN] vitesse de déplacementRésumé : (Auteur) For earthquake and tsunami early warning and emergency response, the parameters of earthquakes should be determined rapidly and correctly. The precise displacement time series can be obtained from high-rate GPS precise point positioning (PPP) during the earthquake, but require long convergence time. In this paper, the PPP velocity estimation (PPPVE) approach is applied to estimate the velocity waveforms and integrate to displacement waveforms in real-time scenarios. A case study of the 2018 Alaska earthquake is conducted from 1 Hz GPS data. The accuracy of velocity and displacement waveforms for 1 Hz GPS data is analyzed by comparing PPPVE-derived displacements with kinematic PPP solution. The results indicate that PPP and PPPVE are both capable of detecting seismic displacement waveforms with amplitude of 1 cm horizontally, while PPPVE can detect the displacement waveforms with much faster convergence speed. The mean convergence time of PPPVE for north, east and up components are 19, 22 and 31 s, respectively. The derived ground motion parameters estimate a magnitude of Mw = 7.97 ± 0.18, showing a great consistency and agreement with the seismometer magnitude. The preliminary relationship between the seismic intensity and ground motion parameters is established and evaluated for an auxiliary reference. Furthermore, the permanent displacement induced by the earthquake is obtained from real-time PPPVE approach. The benefits of PPPVE approach for GNSS seismology are demonstrated. [Termes IGN] série temporelleRésumé : (auteur) Coastal populations are impacted by relative sea level variations, which consist both of absolute sea level variations and of vertical land motions. This paper focuses on the Southwest and Central Pacific region, a recognized vulnerable region to sea level rise and where a large range of vertical land motion dynamics is observed. We analyse vertical displacement rates obtained from Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) by different analysis centres. We study the role played by modelled parameters, such as step discontinuities (due to equipment changes, earthquakes, etc.), in the position time-series analysis. We propose a new modelling approach based on a joint inversion of GNSS position time-series from different analysis centres. The final uncertainty on the vertical land motion rates is estimated as a combination of the uncertainty due to the GNSS data processing itself and the uncertainty due to the stability of the reference frame in which the GNSS data are expressed. We find that the dominant trend in the Southwest and Central Pacific is a moderate subsidence, with an average rate of −1.1 mm yr–1, but significant variations are observed, with displacement rates varying from an uplift of 1.6 ± 0.3 mm yr–1 to a subsidence of −5.4 ± 0.3 mm yr–1. Taking into account the geodynamic context, we assess, for each station, the relevance of current estimates of linear vertical displacement rate and uncertainty for forecasting future coastal sea levels. [Termes IGN] variation saisonnièreRésumé : (auteur) This study examines the consistency and representativeness differences of daily integrated water vapour (IWV) data from ERA-Interim reanalysis and GPS observations at 120 global sites over a 16-year period (1995–2010). Various comparison statistics are analysed as a function of geographic, topographic, and climatic features. A small (±1 kg m−2) bias is found in the reanalysis across latitudes (moist in northern and southern midlatitudes and dry in the tropics). The standard deviation of daily IWV differences is generally below 2 kg m−2 but peaks in the northern and southern storm-track regions. In general, the larger IWV differences are explained by increased representativeness errors, when GPS observations capture some small-scale variability that is not resolved by the reanalysis. A representativeness error statistic is proposed which measures the spatiotemporal variability in the vicinity of the GPS sites, based on reanalysis data at the four surrounding grid points. It allows to predict the standard deviation of daily IWV differences with a correlation of 0.73. In general, representativeness differences can be reduced by temporal averaging and spatial interpolation from the four surrounding grid points. A small number of outlying cases (15 sites) which do not follow the general tendencies are further examined. It is found that their special topographic and climatic features strongly enhance the representativeness errors (e.g. steep topography, coastlines, and strong seasonal cycle in monsoon regions). Discarding these sites significantly improves the global ERA-Interim and GPS comparison results. The selection of sites a priori, based on the representativeness error statistic, is able to detect 11 out of the 15 sites and improve the comparison results by 20 % to 30 %. [Termes IGN] surveillance géologiqueRésumé : (Auteur) In order to optimise the selection of landslide monitoring points and save the cost of monitoring, a geological constitutive model was constructed by using 3D laser scanning and geological borehole data to simulate the relationship between rainfall and deformation. Thus, the main occurrence area and maximum deformation of the landslide were determined. Aiming at the deficiency of the single-epoch redundancy of the single-frequency GNSS receiver and the poor accuracy, this paper proposes a single-frequency BDS/GPS combined positioning and monitoring scheme with constraint of deformation features to restrict the search range of single-frequency ambiguity, obviously increase the ambiguity fixed success rate and then improve the BDS/GPS positioning accuracy. By contrast experiments, the landslide area obtained by numerical simulation basically matches with the on-site landslide area. The BDS/GPS combined positioning with constraint is consistent with the deep displacement changes, which can well reflect the displacement of the landslide body and make an early warning of disasters. [Termes IGN] variation temporelleRésumé : (auteur) This study deals with the analysis of temporal gravity variations in central Poland, deduced from multiple sources and covering the period from 2002–2016. The gravity data sets used comprise GRACE monthly solutions, GLDAS land surface models and absolute gravimeter measurements from the FG-5 gravimeter located in Józefosław, Poland. All data are corrected using standard processing methods in order to include the same gravity effects. After removing the annual and semi-annual components from all data using least-squares spectral analysis and seasonal-trend decomposition, the deseasoned time series are derived and examined for signatures of extreme hydrological events. The signatures of several severe drought and flood conditions affecting Poland and central Europe are identified. A complementary correlation analysis is performed to assess the level of agreement between different data sources. A higher correlation is shown when the analysis is restricted in the 2009–2012 period that includes the 2010 extreme flood and 2011 increased precipitation events, both affecting Poland.
