It is primarily based on source-code descriptions of the KSGSoft program developed by the author at the GFZ in Postdam. The theory and algorithms are revised and extended for a new development of a multiple functional GPS software. New concepts suchs as the unified GPS data processing method and ambiguity-ionospheric algorithm, as well as general ambiguity search criteria, are reported for the first time. Mathematically rigorous, the book begins with the basics of coordinate and time systems and satellite orbits, as well as GPS observables, and deals with topic such as physical influences, observation equation, adjustment and filtering, ambiguity resolution, data processing, kinematic positioning, and, the determination of perturbed orbits. On présente finalement quelques résultats. Note de contenu : 1/ Mouvement Képlérien

[Termes IGN] programmation linéaireRésumé : (Auteur) In this thesis, a method to estimate vegetation parameters from multispectral remote sensing data using physical radiative transfer models and a small amount of ground-truth data is proposed. During two years this method has been exemplarily validated for different winter wheat fields imaged by a Daedalus ATM multispectral scanner. The focus lies on the variations of vegetation parameters within single fields. These variations allow to derive information about soil heterogeneities, which are important parameters for precision farming applications. For the estimation of vegetation parameters, physical radiative transfer models are combined with a linear empirical model and inverted with numerical optimisation methods. Ground-truth measurements are employed to reduce errors by a linear empirical fitting of the applied physical models. Results of model inversions with synthetic and real datasets show, that four vegetation parameters, leaf area index, chlorophyll content, specific dry matter, and specific water content are estimable assuming the given configuration. The strength of this method lies on the comprehensive and robust modelling, which assures reliable estimation of several vegetation parameters with a minimum number of ground-truth measurements. The accuracies of the estimated parameters are comparable with the quality of the ground-truth measurements. [Termes IGN] rayonnement solaireRésumé : (Auteur) Terrain parameters derived from digital elevation models (DEMs), such as slope gradient, aspect and cell surface area, are represented as a vector normal to the surface and calculated using the minimum areal unit of the DEM, that is enclosed between four data points. The position of the Sun is calculated by applying rotational matrices to a unit vector defined at noon as a function of latitude and declination. The direct component of insolation intercepted by the cell surface is then calculated as a dot product between the unit vector in the direction of the Sun and the unit vector normal to surface, multiplied by direct normal irradiation. Hillshading is computed by scanning the projection of cells onto a solar illumination plane perpendicular to the Sun direction. Horizon angles and estimated sky view factor are calculated using a more economical algorithm than a rigorous evaluation of all the angles subtended by every grid cell to each other. The performance of the slope algorithm is evaluated using a synthetic surface and real world examples are given for the Mont Blanc Massif, in the French Alps.
