[Termes IGN] téléphonie mobileRésumé : (auteur) In the past few years, mobile network data are considered as a useful complementary source of information for human mobility research. Mobile phone datasets contain massive amount of spatiotemporal localization of millions of users. The analyze of such huge amount of data for mobility studies reveals many issues such as time computation, users sampling, spatiotemporal heterogeneities, semantic incompleteness. In this chapter, two issues are addressed: (1) location sampling aiming at decreasing computation time without losing useful information on the one hand and to eliminate data considered as noise in the other hand and (2) users sampling whose goal is to select users having relevant information. For the first issue two measures allowing eliminating redundant information and ping-pong positions are proposed. The second issue requires the definition of a set of measures allowing estimating mobile phone data quality. New methods to qualify mobile phone data at local and global level are proposed. The methods are tested on one-day mobile phone data coming from technical mobile network probes. [Termes IGN] mise à jour de base de donnéesRésumé : (auteur) Nowadays, users often use topographic data to reference their own thematic data. When reference data are updated or if the user wants to replace the reference, the thematic data have to be processed in order to maintain data consistency. We call this processing thematic data migration. This paper proposes an updated version of a previously proposed thematic data migration process, which includes the case where the relations between thematic and topographic data have to be modified between the initial and the final state. A model to describe the relations and their modifications is proposed. A multi-criteria decision method is used to relocalise the thematic data on the topographic data guided by the described relations. The whole process is illustrated on a running example, on which obtained results are presented and discussed. [Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (auteur) Automatic building modelling allows a cost effective access to 3D semantic information of cities. However, even state-of-the-art algorithms have intrinsic limits and many errors exist in 3D reconstructions, requiring expensive manual corrections. A new approach is proposed in this paper for the automatic diagnosis of 3D building databases in urban areas. A novel error taxonomy which allows a subsequent high-level diagnosis is first proposed. Then, relevant raster and vector features are extracted from very high resolution multi-view images and Digital Surface Models so as that to retrieve such errors. In a supervised way, a set of functions is presented in order to take high-level decisions from these low-level features. Experiments on 355 buildings in an European dense city center with 10 cm airborne images demonstrate the high accuracy on error detection and show promising results. [Termes IGN] protection de la vie privéeRésumé : (Auteur) With the trend of cloud computing, outsourcing databases to third party service providers is becoming a common practice for data owners to decrease the cost of managing and maintaining databases in-house. In conjunction, due to the popularity of location-based-services (LBS), the need for spatial data (e.g., gazetteers, vector data) is increasing dramatically. Consequently, there is a noticeably new tendency of outsourcing spatial datasets by data collectors. Two main challenges with outsourcing datasets are to keep the data private (from the data provider) and to ensure the integrity of the query result (for the clients). Unfortunately, most of the techniques proposed for privacy and integrity do not extend to spatial data in a straightforward manner. Hence, recent studies proposed various techniques to support either privacy or integrity (but not both) on spatial datasets. In this paper, for the first time, we propose a technique that can ensure both privacy and integrity for outsourced spatial data. In particular, we first use a one-way spatial transformation method based on Hilbert curves, which encrypts the spatial data before outsourcing and, hence, ensures its privacy. Next, by probabilistically replicating a portion of the data and encrypting it with a different encryption key, we devise a technique for the client to audit the trustworthiness of the query results. We show the applicability of our approach for both k-nearest-neighbor queries and spatial range queries, which are the building blocks of any LBS application. We also design solutions to guarantee the freshness of outsourced spatial databases. Finally, we evaluate the validity and performance of our algorithms with security analyses and extensive simulations.
