[Termes IGN] triangulation de DelaunayRésumé : (Auteur) This paper offers a methodology for the semi-automatic extraction of control points for phototriangulation by using laser intensity images. The control points are determined by the intersection of three or more plane features which make up the roof of houses or building or constructions in general. The features under study are selected visually in aerial photos of constructions in which there are three or more sloped roofs presenting concurrent plane features. These constructions are identified in laser intensity image, and the plane features which define their roofs are extracted and individually adjusted from a group of points which result from the survey undertaken with airborne laser scanner. Control points are determined through the intersection of roof planes of each construction previously adjusted. By using this technique, it is possible to use the points obtained from plane feature intersection in a computational routine, thus replacing the ones obtained in the field. The airborne points were processed in a semi-automated way to rebuild the plane features of building roofs. Thus, they were identified in laser intensity image and extracted from Delaunay's triangulation. Finally, the analysis of normal vectors of the generated triangulation is realized. The methodology was tested by phototriangulation with bundle adjustment and supported by the points obtained from laser scanner and by checking points the ones pre-signalized and which where obtained from the field with GPS help. A photogrammetric block formed by six aerial photos obtained by non-metric digital camera was used for tests. The results were analysed and compared, and the methodology used was recommended. [Termes IGN] orientation externeRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents a method for indirect orientation of aerial images using ground control lines extracted from airborne Laser system (ALS) data. This data integration strategy has shown good potential in the automation of photogrammetric tasks, including the indirect orientation of images. The most important characteristic of the proposed approach is that the exterior orientation parameters (EOP) of a single or multiple images can be automatically computed with a space resection procedure from data derived from different sensors. The suggested method works as follows. Firstly, the straight lines are automatically extracted in the digital aerial image (s) and in the intensity image derived from an ALS data-set (S). Then, correspondence between s and S is automatically determined. A line-based coplanarity model that establishes the relationship between straight lines in the object and in the image space is used to estimate the EOP with the iterated extended Kalman filtering (IEKF). Implementation and testing of the method have employed data from different sensors. Experiments were conducted to assess the proposed method and the results obtained showed that the estimation of the EOP is function of ALS positional accuracy. [Termes IGN] précision infrapixellaireRésumé : (Auteur) The aim of this work is to evaluate the influence of point measurements in images, with subpixel accuracy, and its contribution in the calibration of digital cameras. Also, the effect of subpixel measurements in 3D coordinates of check points in the object space will be evaluated. With this purpose, an algorithm that allows subpixel accuracy was implemented for semi-automatic determination of points of interest, based on Förstner operator. Experiments were accomplished with a block of images acquired with the multispectral camera DuncanTech MS3100-CIR. The influence of subpixel measurements in the adjustment by Least Square Method (LSM) was evaluated by the comparison of estimated standard deviation of parameters in both situations, with manual measurement (pixel accuracy) and with subpixel estimation. Additionally, the influence of subpixel measurements in the 3D reconstruction was also analyzed. Based on the obtained results, i. e., on the quantification of the standard deviation reduction in the Inner Orientation Parameters (IOP) and also in the relative error of the 3D reconstruction, it was shown that measurements with subpixel accuracy are relevant for some tasks in Photogrammetry, mainly for those in which the metric quality is of great relevance, as Camera Calibration. [Termes IGN] orientation du capteur intégréeRésumé : (Auteur) Over the past two decades, the development of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology, inertial navigation technology and Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) and their application to sensor orientation in photogrammetry and remote sensing has led to more precise, accurate, reliable and cost efficient orientation and calibration methods and procedures. Today, most airborne photogrammetric and remote sensing systems are equipped with GNSS receivers and inertial sensors. To a large extent and more or less independently from the imaging geometry and sensor type, orientation is performed with the “direct” and “integrated” methods. In this paper we introduce a new orientation method that we call “Fast AT” for frame images. The new method combines image measurements, ground control and aerial control observations in novel quantitative and qualitative ways. Depending on project specifications, Fast AT can be a robust alternative to direct orientation and, at the very least, a fast quality control tool for any orientation task. We analyze the performance of Fast AT with analogue and digital frame imagery and draw conclusions on its general properties.
