[Termes IGN] théorème de BayesRésumé : (éditeur) Bayesian and Frequentist Regression Methods provides a modern account of both Bayesian and frequentist methods of regression analysis. Many texts cover one or the other of the approaches, but this is the most comprehensive combination of Bayesian and frequentist methods that exists in one place. The two philosophical approaches to regression methodology are featured here as complementary techniques, with theory and data analysis providing supplementary components of the discussion. In particular, methods are illustrated using a variety of data sets. The majority of the data sets are drawn from biostatistics but the techniques are generalizable to a wide range of other disciplines. While the philosophy behind each approach is discussed, the book is not ideological in nature and an emphasis is placed on practical application. It is shown that, in many situations, careful application of the respective approaches can lead to broadly similar conclusions. To use this text, the reader requires a basic understanding of calculus and linear algebra, and introductory courses in probability and statistical theory. The book is based on the author's experience teaching a graduate sequence in regression methods. Il traite de méthodes d'extraction automatique. On s'intéresse à l'extraction du trait de côte à partir de ces deux types d'images, et à la caractérisation d'une zone de végétation. Les résultats issus de classifications automatiques sur ces images y sont présentés. Ce rapport comporte aussi des parties théoriques concernant le radar polarimétrique nécessaires aux prétraitements effectués sur les images radar. Les travaux effectués sur le trait de côte ont permis de conclure que les image optiques sont très adaptées et permettent d'obtenir un résultat précis. Au contraire, les images radar ne permettent pas de déterminer le trait de côte de manière automatique. Les tests de classification effectués ont montré la complémentarité des images optiques et radar et ont permis de déterminer les types d'objets que l'on peut détecter avec chacune de ces images. Le tissage continu, des écritures, des flux et des données, des êtres et des objets, de leurs pratiques, bref l’écologie de ces relations, de ces nouveaux territoires, ne cesse de croître sous ces conditions. Ces transformations sont loin d’être consensuelles et elles mettent en tension les agencements socio-techniques, cognitifs, économiques, environnementaux, culturels, professionnels… Cet ouvrage a pour but d’appréhender des « débats du numérique » en les éclairant de regards issus de champs disciplinaires différents. Sont ici rassemblées des contributions de chercheurs et de praticiens analysant le passage à de nouveaux modes de gouvernance du web et des collectifs numériques, à de nouvelles économies politiques des savoirs et des « Data » : la régulation d’Internet et la complication croissante de ses infrastructures et des acteurs qui les produisent ; le renouvellement puissant des « Commons » et des intelligences collectives soutenu par le mouvement hétérogène de l’Open Data ; le web des données et la question politico-cognitive des écritures ; l’hegemon du Datamining au coeur du marketing ; la montée du Data journalisme. [Termes IGN] vision par ordinateurRésumé : (auteur) In the context of urban autonomous navigation systems for going from point A to point B, a practicable trajectory which takes into account drivable areas and permanent obstacles should be designed first. A robot should then follow this trajectory while avoiding not only dynamic obstacles such as cars and pedestrians but also permanent obstacles such as road sides and central islands. To this end, a robot must be aware of its exact position and must be informed of what its immediate environment is at all times. In dense urban areas, GNSS systems generally suffer from lack of precision due to masks and multipaths. Localization systems have to model these phenomena and even merge with vision based methods in order to obtain the high accuracies required in the process. In this paper, we propose an integrated geographic database enabling, on the one hand, the GNSS and vision based localization methods to obtain the required accuracy, and on the other, to provide the robots with information about its surroundings such as drivable surfaces and permanent obstacles. The database is comprised of 3D buildings, 3D roads and a set of 3D visual landmarks. Our system provides most of the information required for autonomous navigation in dense urban areas and has successfully been embedded in real experiments, thanks to a real-time querying system.
