[Termes IGN] superposition d'imagesRésumé : (auteur) Even after applying effective coregistration methods, multitemporal images are likely to show a residual misalignment, which is referred to as registration noise (RN). This is because coregistration methods from the literature cannot fully handle the local dissimilarities induced by differences in the acquisition conditions (e.g., the stability of the acquisition platform, the off-nadir angle of the sensor, the structure of the considered scene, etc.). This paper addresses the problem of reducing such a residual misalignment by proposing a fine automatic coregistration approach for very high resolution (VHR) multispectral images. The proposed method takes advantage of the properties of the residual misalignment itself. To this end, RN is first extracted in the change vector analysis (CVA) polar domain according to the behaviors of the specific multitemporal images considered. Then, a local analysis of RN pixels (i.e., those showing residual misalignment) is conducted for automatically extracting control points (CPs) and matching them according to their estimated displacement. Matched CPs are used for generating a deformation map by interpolation. Finally, one VHR image is warped to the coordinates of the other through a deformation map. Experiments carried out on simulated and real multitemporal VHR images confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach. [Termes IGN] téléphone intelligentRésumé : (auteur) The utility and adoption of indoor localization applications have been limited due to the complex nature of the physical environment combined with an increasing requirement for more robust localization performance. Existing solutions to this problem are either too expensive or too dependent on infrastructure such as Wi-Fi access points. To address this problem, we propose APFiLoc—a low cost, smartphone-based framework for indoor localization. The key idea behind this framework is to obtain landmarks within the environment and to use the augmented particle filter to fuse them with measurements from smartphone sensors and map information. A clustering method based on distance constraints is developed to detect organic landmarks in an unsupervised way, and the least square support vector machine is used to classify seed landmarks. A series of real-world experiments were conducted in complex environments including multiple floors and the results show APFiLoc can achieve 80% accuracy (phone in the hand) and around 70% accuracy (phone in the pocket) of the error less than 2 m error without the assistance of infrastructure like Wi-Fi access points. [Termes IGN] précision des donnéesRésumé : (auteur) We present a first assessment of UAS-derived orthoimagery and digital elevation data in the context of newly-released accuracy standards for digital geospatial data developed by the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. We outline results from two case studies using a commercially-available UAS, photogrammetry software, and an array of ground control and check points. Radial horizontal and vertical root-meansquare- errors (RMSE) were calculated as 0.05 m and 0.06 m, respectively, for one site, and 0.08 m and 0.03 m, respectively, for the other. Under the 1990 ASPRS standards, both surveys meet the requirements for Class 1 accuracy at the 1:500 map scale and at the 0.50 m contour interval. Under the newly-developed ASPRS standards, the reported errors fulfill the requirements for both horizontal and vertical mapping at the 10 cm RMSE level. Overall, these results provide initial direction for practitioners considering UAS surveying in the context of accuracy standards Numéro de notice : A2015-989 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : IMAGERIE Nature : Article DOI : 10.14358/PERS.81.10.787 En ligne : https://doi.org/10.14358/PERS.81.10.787 Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=80270
