[Termes IGN] traitement de donnéesIndex. décimale : SILAT Mastère Systèmes d'Informations Localisées pour l'Aménagement des Territoires Résumé : (Auteur) Dans son logiciel de gestion parcellaire (base de données cartographiques), le CDER Informatique a abordé le thème de l'agriculture de précision par l'intermédiaire des cartes de rendement et des analyses de sol. Afin de compléter cette approche, il m'a demandé d'évaluer les différentes sources d'information de type "image" qu'il serait possible, à terme, d'intégrer dans AGRIMAP. Ce projet vise à utiliser l'historique de données acquises sur 2 exploitations - pilotes afin de les compiler et de proposer aux agriculteurs une source d'information différente. Les données de rendement ont tout d'abord été analysées et traitées individuellement, de manière à émettre des hypothèses sur le milieu (les agriculteurs estiment que le sol est le facteur limitant principal). D'autre part, le traitement des cartes de rendement obtenues sur une même parcelle pour plusieurs récoltes a permis d'élaborer une carte de rendement moyen et de stabilité du rendement pour chacune des parcelles. Ces hypothèses et ces zonages ont ensuite été validées avec les cartes pédologiques. Enfin, 2 types d'images satellitales (IKONOS et SPOT) ont été traités par l'intermédiaire d'indices de végétation et de l'élaboration de classes, dans le but d'anticiper le rendement à la récolte. Ce travail a apporté une vision de la variabilité intra-parcellaire, complémentaire de l'approche terrain. L'intérêt a été montré, que ce type d'analyse permet à l'agriculteur de mieux identifier, caractériser et délimiter différentes zones intra-parcellaires homogènes. On note que cette démarche doit nécessairement être menée en collaboration avec l'agriculteur, car il est le plus à même de valoriser cette information. La dernière partie de ce rapport propose des évolutions du logiciel Agrimap pour que, à terme, l'agriculteur réalise lui-même cette intégration de données, et qu'elle lui serve d'outil d'aide à la décision (génération de cartes de préconisation par exemple). Dans les zones où les données ne sont pas disponibles, les satellites d'observation de la terre peuvent représenter une source d'information précieuse. Pour chacune des applications liées à la problématique de la production d'eau potable à savoir la quantification de la ressource, l'évaluation des prélèvements effectués par les différents usages, la qualité de l'eau et les problèmes de pollution et l'élimination des déchets de station d'épuration, l'intérêt de l'utilisation de l'outil satellitaire a été évalué en privilégiant le caractère opérationnel de la mise en oeuvre de ces nouvelles techniques. Pour mettre en pratique ces résultats et vérifier leur caractère opérationnel, les problématiques majeures de gestion de la ressource en eau ont été étudiées dans la région d'Aguascalientes au Mexique dont le niveau de l'aquifère a baissé de 100 mètres en 30 ans. A partir d'images SPOT, sans données sur la zone, des résultats significatifs et objectifs ont été obtenus sur cette région dans 3 domaines : stabilité des superficies irriguées entre 1991 et 1999, forte extension des zones urbaines sur la même période, diminution significative de la superficie des retenues d'eau. Par ailleurs, des modifications des techniques d'irrigation ont été observées sur cette période, avec le développement des systèmes d'irrigation par aspersion, plus économes en eau que les techniques traditionnelles. A travers cette application à la région d'Aguascalientes, le caractère opérationnel des techniques spatiales dans le domaine de la gestion des ressources en eau est donc démontré. Ces techniques ont permis d'obtenir, dans un délai bref, des informations concrètes et objectives sur la situation de l'aquifère d'Aguascalientes.
