While the NUVEL1-A is a geological-based model, recently a model has been proposed (GSRM2.1 model) which is based on the results of space geodetic techniques. In this work, we investigate the consistency of these models with the VLBI and SLR results in Europe. Direction and magnitude of the horizontal motion from NUVEL-1A and GSRM2.1 models are compared with corresponding values from both geodetic techniques. This comparison provides valuable deductions such as: (1) The values of geodetic-based model (GSRM2.1) show better agreement with SLR and VLBI results (2) In each comparison between geodetic results and modelled values, direction divergence is larger than magnitude difference. [Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (auteur) Land-use classification plays an important role in urban planning and resource allocation and had contributed to a wide range of urban studies and investigations. With the development of crowdsourcing technology and map services, points of interest (POIs) have been widely used for recognizing urban land-use types. However, current research methods for land-use classifications have been limited to extracting the spatial relationship of POIs in research units. To close this gap, this study uses a graph-based data structure to describe the POIs in research units, with graph convolutional networks (GCNs) being introduced to extract the spatial context and urban land-use classification. First, urban scenes are built by considering the spatial context of POIs. Second, a graph structure is used to express the scenes, where POIs are treated as graph nodes. The spatial distribution relationship of POIs is considered to be the graph's edges. Third, a GCN model is designed to extract the spatial context of the scene by aggregating the information of adjacent nodes within the graph and urban land-use classification. Thus, the land-use classification can be treated as a classification on a graphic level through deep learning. Moreover, the POI spatial context can be effectively extracted during classification. Experimental results and comparative experiments confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method. [Termes IGN] série temporelleRésumé : (auteur) The spatio-temporal random effects (STRE) model is a classic dynamic filtering model, which can be used to fuse GNSS and InSAR deformation data. The STRE model uses a certain time span of high spatial resolution Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) time series data to establish a spatial model and then obtain a deformation result with high spatio-temporal resolution through the state transition equation recursively in time domain. Combined with the Kalman filter, the STRE model is continuously updated and modified in time domain to obtain higher accuracy result. However, it relies heavily on the prior information and personal experience to establish an accurate spatial model. To the authors' knowledge, there are no publications which use the STRE model with multiple sets of different deformation monitoring data to verify its applicability and reliability. Here, we propose an improved STRE model to automatically establish accurate spatial model to improve the STRE model, then apply it to the fusion of GNSS and InSAR deformation data in the San Francisco Bay Area covering approximately 6000 km2 and in Southern California covering approximately 100,000 km2. Our experimental results show that the improved STRE model can achieve good fusion effects in both study areas. For internal inspection, the average error RMS values in the two regions are 0.13 mm and 0.06 mm for InSAR and 2.4 and 2.8 mm for GNSS, respectively; for Jackknife cross-validation, the average error RMS values are 6.0 and 1.3 mm for InSAR and 4.3 and 4.8 mm for GNSS in the two regions, respectively. We find that the deformation rate calculated from the fusion results is highly consistent with the existing studies, the significant difference in the deformation rate on both sides of the major faults in the two regions can be clearly seen, and the area with abnormal deformation rate corresponds well to the actual situation. These results indicate that the improved STRE model can reduce the reliance on prior information and personal experience, realize the effective fusion of GNSS and InSAR deformation data in different regions, and also has the advantages of high accuracy and strong applicability. [Termes IGN] texture d'imageRésumé : (auteur) We present a new method to create spatial data using a generative adversarial network (GAN). Our contribution uses coarse and widely available geospatial data to create maps of less available features at the finer scale in the built environment, bypassing their traditional acquisition techniques (e.g. satellite imagery or land surveying). In the work, we employ land use data and road networks as input to generate building footprints and conduct experiments in 9 cities around the world. The method, which we implement in a tool we release openly, enables the translation of one geospatial dataset to another with high fidelity and morphological accuracy. It may be especially useful in locations missing detailed and high-resolution data and those that are mapped with uncertain or heterogeneous quality, such as much of OpenStreetMap. The quality of the results is influenced by the urban form and scale. In most cases, the experiments suggest promising performance as the method tends to truthfully indicate the locations, amount, and shape of buildings. The work has the potential to support several applications, such as energy, climate, and urban morphology studies in areas previously lacking required data or inpainting geospatial data in regions with incomplete data.
