Because of the asymmetric design, the relative flexibility of the pylons, the eccentric positioning of the central joint and the off-plane low angles of the cables, a multi-sensor, event based geodetic monitoring scheme was adopted to assess the structural integrity of the bridge. During construction, the bridge kinematics were measured along both sides of the deck and at selected points on the pylon facades using a digital level and a high accuracy total station used in metrology respectively. At a commissioning stage, a number of load test series were undertaken using conventional geodetic techniques and a tactical grade Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). Analysis confirmed the overall mathematical modelling assumptions made for the individual stages of construction and for the completed structure. However, analysis also revealed the increased structural rigidity of the structure. This particularly applies for the torsional stiffness of the deck that exhibits low (by a factor of 0·5) rotation angles compared to those obtained from the analytical models. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (Auteur) The traditional PPP/INS system is still not used as widely as the DGNSS/INS system in precise applications, although no local reference stations are required. The main reason that prevents its use is that the traditional PPP/INS system is based on the float ambiguity solution, which leads to long convergence period and unstable positioning accuracy. We propose a tightly coupled ambiguity-fixed PPP/INS integration. First, the derivation of the observation model of the ambiguity-fixed PPP at the single-difference level using integer phase clock products from Center National d’Etudes Spatiales is presented in detail. Then the inertial navigation system model is presented. With these two models, the tightly coupled model of the PPP/INS integration is established. Finally, two carborne tests are used to evaluate the performance of the tight integration of ambiguity-fixed PPP and INS. Experimental results indicate that the proposed ambiguity-fixed PPP/INS integration is able to reach stable centimeter-level positioning after the first-fixed solution and its overall performance is comparable to that of the DGNSS/INS integration, and rapid re-convergence and re-fixing are achievable after a short period of GNSS outage for the PPP/INS integration. For local authorities and State relevant administrations, the accurate knowledge of the underground pipeline network is fundamental. Yet now, most of the time, they only arrange with cartographic plans coming from diverse sources, without consistency of scale, and with different quality of accuracy, what harms in the design of projects and expose to risks during the pipe-works. In 2012, a reform came into force, from then the contracting authorities are responsible of pipe-works’ security, the networks operators have to commit on their pipe-networks’ location, the public works companies have to give evidence of skills bound to the works they execute. The objectives are to improve the accuracy of the pipe-networks location and enhance reliability of the geo information exchanges between stake-holders. In 2019, the gas, power and lightning underground networks in urban areas will have to be georeferenced in the national system of coordinates with 40 cm accuracy. In 2026, these requirements will be applicable for all the networks in France. The reform involves local authorities and networks operators to use the same shared data to locate the underground pipe-networks: the “Very large scale core street map” designed by the stake-holders themselves within the frame of the French national council for geographic information (CNIG) in 2015. Actuality, stake-holders are steadily meeting within the CNIG to accompany the nation-wide implementation of the “Very large scale core street map”: rural areas, local agreements and technical choices are still important issues.
