[Termes IGN] série temporelleRésumé : (Auteur) There has been considerable research in the literature focused on computing and forecasting sea-level changes in terms of constant trends or rates. The Antarctic ice sheet is one of the main contributors to sea-level change with highly uncertain rates of glacial thinning and accumulation. Geodetic observing systems such as the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) and the Global Positioning System (GPS) are routinely used to estimate these trends. In an effort to improve the accuracy and reliability of these trends, this study investigates a technique that allows the estimated rates, along with co-estimated seasonal components, to vary in time. For this, state space models are defined and then solved by a Kalman filter (KF). The reliable estimation of noise parameters is one of the main problems encountered when using a KF approach, which is solved by numerically optimizing likelihood. Since the optimization problem is non-convex, it is challenging to find an optimal solution. To address this issue, we limited the parameter search space using classical least-squares adjustment (LSA). In this context, we also tested the usage of inequality constraints by directly verifying whether they are supported by the data. The suggested technique for time-series analysis is expanded to classify and handle time-correlated observational noise within the state space framework. The performance of the method is demonstrated using GRACE and GPS data at the CAS1 station located in East Antarctica and compared to commonly used LSA. The results suggest that the outlined technique allows for more reliable trend estimates, as well as for more physically valuable interpretations, while validating independent observing systems. For the integer bootstrap estimator, the density function has an analytical definition that enables probability calculations given perfect statistical knowledge of measurement and process noise. This paper derives a method to upper bound the tail probability of the integer bootstrapped GNSS baseline when the measurement and process noise correlation functions are unknown, but can be upper and lower bounded. The tail probability is shown to be a non-convex function of a vector of conditional variances, whose feasible region is a convex polytope. We show how to solve the non-convex optimization problem globally by discretizing the polytope into small hyper-rectangular elements, and demonstrate the method for a static baseline estimation problem. As a consequence, it is becoming critical important to design space systems that are able to localize the source of interference, allowing actions that can prevent future repetitions of similar behaviors. This is the first of a series of articles on the issue of interference localization. This article discusses the theoretical aspects associated with single-interferer localization approaches, describing how to extract those features providing information on the interference source location from the received interference signal itself, and how to compute a position fix by merging the collected information. By intrinsic localization, we mean that no reference coordinate system, such as global navigation satellite system (GNSS), nor inertial measurement unit (IMU) are used. Experiments are conducted with a 2D laser scanner mounted on a rolling prototype platform, VILMA. The concept offers potential in being extendable to other wheeled platforms. [Termes IGN] signal BeiDouRésumé : (Auteur) The latest generation of GNSS satellites such as GPS BLOCK-IIF, Galileo and BDS are transmitting signals on three or more frequencies, thus having more choices in practice. At the same time, new challenges arise for integrating the new signals. This paper contributes to the modeling and assessment of triple-frequency PPP with BDS data. First, three triple-frequency PPP models are developed. The observation model and stochastic model are designed and extended to accommodate the third frequency. In particular, new biases such as differential code biases and inter-frequency biases as well as the parameterizations are addressed. Then, the relationships between different PPP models are discussed. To verify the triple-frequency PPP models, PPP tests with real triple-frequency data were performed in both static and kinematic scenarios. Results show that the three triple-frequency PPP models agree well with each other. Additional frequency has a marginal effect on the positioning accuracy in static PPP tests. However, the benefits of third frequency are significant in situations of where there is poor tracking and contaminated observations on frequencies B1 and B2 in kinematic PPP tests.
