[Termes IGN] rayonnement proche infrarougeRésumé : (auteur) Measuring the amount of vegetation in a given area on a large scale has long been accomplished using satellite and aerial imaging systems. These methods have been very reliable in measuring vegetation coverage accurately at the top of the canopy, but their capabilities are limited when it comes to identifying green vegetation located beneath the canopy cover. Measuring the amount of urban and suburban vegetation along a street network that is partially beneath the canopy has recently been introduced with the use of Google Street View (GSV) images, made accessible by the Google Street View Image API. Analyzing green vegetation through the use of GSV images can provide a comprehensive representation of the amount of green vegetation found within geographical regions of higher population density, and it facilitates an analysis performed at the street-level. In this paper we propose a fine-tuned color based image filtering and segmentation technique and we use it to define and map an urban green environment index. We deployed this image processing method and, using GSV images as a high-resolution GIS data source, we computed and mapped the green index of Milwaukee County, a 3,082 km2 urban/suburban county in Wisconsin. This approach generates a high-resolution street-level vegetation estimate that may prove valuable in urban planning and management, as well as for researchers investigating the correlation between environmental factors and human health outcomes. Traditional studies have evaluated the accessibility from different aspects. Considering the interaction among land use, bus timetable arrangement and individual factors, a more holistic accessibility measurement is proposed to combine static and dynamic characteristics from multisource traffic data. The rationale of the proposed model is verified by a case study of bus system in Shenzhen, China, which is carried out to find the spatial and temporal discrepancy of service of bus system. It is found that the adjustment of bus schedule to time-varying travel demand can affect accessibility of bus system and that Land-use development, average bus speed and bus facilities all have positive effects on accessibility of bus system. These findings provide significant reference for transport planning and policy-making. The proposed model is not limited to accessibility measuring of bus system, but also applicable to other travel modes. [Termes IGN] web sémantiqueRésumé : (auteur) In the last decades, the use of information management systems in the building data processing led to radical changes to the methods of data production, documentation and archiving. In particular, the possibilities, given by these information systems, to visualize the 3D model and to formulate queries have placed the question of the information sharing in digital format. The integration of information systems represents an efficient solution for defining smart, sustainable and resilient projects, such as conservation and restoration processes, giving the possibilities to combine heterogeneous data. GIS provides a robust data storage system, a definition of topological and semantic relationships and spatial queries. 3D GIS makes possible the creation of three-dimensional model in a geospatial context. To promote the interoperability of GIS data, the present research aims first to analyse methods of conversion in CityGML and IndoorGML model, defining an ontological domain. This has led to the creation of a new enriched model, based on connections among the different elements of the urban model in GIS environment, and to the possibility to formulate queries based on these relations. The second step consists in collecting all data translated into a specific format that fill a graph database in a semantic web environment, while maintaining those relationships. The semantic web technology represents an efficient tool of interoperability that leaves open the possibility to import BIM data in the same graph database and to join both GIS and BIM models. The outcome will offer substantial benefits during the entire project life cycle. This methodology can also be applied to cultural heritage where the information management plays a key role. [Termes IGN] tracé routierRésumé : (auteur) Cycling lane centerlines (CLC) play an important role in the evaluation of safety-related conditions and guiding systems for cyclists along road corridors. The unavailability of design files or undocumented changes in the road infrastructures after improvements has created great difficulty in delineating CLC on existing roads. In this study, mobile laser scanning (MLS) data are introduced into this domain and a four-step semi-automated framework is proposed for generating CLC on roads with roadside barriers (RB). First, MLS data are restructured into the aligned scan-pattern grid using the mapping trajectory data. Second, a rasterization-based clustering approach is applied to segment the off-ground objects from the reorganized MLS data. Third, the RB amongst the segmented objects are identified using a sequential application of the k-Means clustering method and the proposed unidirectional growing method. Finally, the moving average technique and natural cubic spline are applied to generate CLC from the critical positions alongside the identified RB. Testing on three road sections with different types of RB demonstrated that the developed framework can successfully generate CLC from MLS data in the presence of considerable noises. The results also show that the proposed procedure shows better accuracy performance on processing roads with wide RB than a road with narrow RB. [Termes IGN] utilisation du solRésumé : (auteur) This study presents a water accumulation diffusion algorithm to spatially simulate rainstorm-induced waterlogging for people’s lives and property safety. Taking part of Jinfeng District in Yinchuan City, China, as a study area, a storm water management model (SWMM) model is constructed with the aid of geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing (RS) technologies. GIS is used to divide sub-catchments, generalize drainage system, set parameters, construct spatial geodatabase, and identify flood extents and depths. RS is used to obtain land-use/land-cover information. The water accumulation diffusion algorithm is then designed using the strategies of the dynamic interactions between pipes and surface and between central pixel and its neighbourhood pixels to transform water accumulation volume of sub-catchment into the submerged range and water accumulation depth. Positions, extents, depths, and volumes of water accumulation from pipe network and surface are simulated, respectively. The spatial simulation precisions of rainstorm waterlogging from the pipe network and surface are verified according to the measured and cyber rainstorm data, respectively. The results show that (1) the number of water accumulation nodes increases with the increase of rainfall intensity; (2) urban waterlogging is mainly distributed in the intersects of roads, low depressions and the aged drainage networks; and (3) spatial simulation of urban rainstorm waterlogging based on the GIS, RS, and SWMM techniques and the water accumulation diffusion algorithm is reliable. The results can provide decision-makings to predict rainstorm waterlogging, design drainage network, and construct a sponge city.
