[Termes IGN] réseau routierRésumé : (Auteur) To optimize road-surface compacting, increasing surface lifetime and reducing costly repairs, French researchers devised and tested three differential GPS (DGPS) systems - standard DGPS, phase-smoothed DGPS, and a new wide-area code and phase differential system using virtual base station - to help drivers guide machinery. One of these could supplant a tool-costly RTK GPS and dead-reckoning system, delivering the requisite continuous 5-20 centimeter location accuracy. Note de contenu : INTRODUCTION
