[Termes IGN] ondeletteRésumé : (Auteur) In interferometric radiometry, the correlations between all pairs of radio-frequency (RF) receivers must be performed in order to obtain the scene visibilities. This represents a cumbersome problem in passive imaging where large signal bandwidths are typically required to achieve fast-acquisition times and improve the radiometric resolution of the image. In this case, the signal distribution and the correlation at intermediate frequencies require very fast signal acquisition and processing subsystems. This paper presents a technique to perform correlations of millimeter-wave signals produced by thermal emission in the optical domain as a solution to the aforementioned problem. The proposed method is based on converting the RF signal to the optical domain by modulating a laser beam with the RF signal using a LiNbO3 phase modulator. This conversion allows to perform the signal distribution in the optical domain to obtain the combination of the receiver pairs. The correlation is obtained by measuring the power of the photocurrent produced by photodetecting the combined signal. The results of an experimental validation consisting on the acquisition of passive images using a linear interferometric array are presented to support the feasibility of the method. In addition, performance considerations of the system have been developed and validated by calculating the standard deviation of a visibility measurement. [Termes IGN] varianceRésumé : (Auteur) Change detection was one of the earliest and is also one of the most important applications of remote sensing technology. For multispectral images, an effective solution for the change detection problem is to exploit all the available spectral bands to detect the spectral changes. However, in practice, the temporal spectral variance makes it difficult to separate changes and nonchanges. In this paper, we propose a novel slow feature analysis (SFA) algorithm for change detection. Compared with changed pixels, the unchanged ones should be spectrally invariant and varying slowly across the multitemporal images. SFA extracts the most temporally invariant component from the multitemporal images to transform the data into a new feature space. In this feature space, the differences in the unchanged pixels are suppressed so that the changed pixels can be better separated. Three SFA change detection approaches, comprising unsupervised SFA, supervised SFA, and iterative SFA, are constructed. Experiments on two groups of real Enhanced Thematic Mapper data sets show that our proposed method performs better in detecting changes than the other state-of-the-art change detection methods. Waveform decomposition is the most important part of waveform data processing. A method of stepwise decomposition of full-waveform data based on Levenberg Marquardt has been proposed, which employs stepwise decomposition and uses Levenberg Marquardt, which is a Gaussian function with non-linear least squares fitting algorithm, to obtain precise fitting waveform. Experiment results with 4 different waveform data acquired by RIEGL airborne LiDAR have proved that this method is available and effective. [Termes IGN] surveillance écologiqueRésumé : (Auteur) Recent technological advances in geospatial data gathering have created massive data sets with better spatial and temporal resolution than ever before. These large spatiotemporal data sets have motivated a challenge for Geoinformatics: how to model changes and design good quality software. Many existing spatiotemporal data models represent how objects and fields evolve over time. However, to properly capture changes, it is also necessary to describe events. As a contribution to this research, this article presents an algebra for spatiotemporal data. Algebras give formal specifications at a high-level abstraction, independently of programming languages. This helps to develop reliable and expressive applications. Our algebra specifies three data types as generic abstractions built on real-world observations: time series, trajectory and coverage. Based on these abstractions, it defines object and event types. The proposed data types and functions can model and capture changes in a large range of applications, including location-based services, environmental monitoring, public health, and natural disasters.
