To take advantage of well-registered multi-temporal SAR images, we improve the adaptive nonlocal temporal filter with state-of-the-art adaptive denoising methods and propose a patch based adaptive temporal filter. To address the bias problem of the denoising results, we propose a fast and efficient multitemporal despeckling method. The key idea of the proposed approach is the use of the ratio image, provided by the ratio between an image and the temporal mean of the stack. This ratio image is easier to denoise than a single image thanks to its improved stationarity. Besides, temporally stable thin structures are well-preserved thanks to the multi-temporal mean. Without reference image, we propose to use a patch-based auto-covariance residual evaluation method to examine the residual image and look for possible remaining structural contents. With speckle reduction images, we propose to use simplified generalized likelihood ratio method to detect the change area, change magnitude and change times in long series of well-registered images. Based on spectral clustering, we apply the simplified generalized likelihood ratio to detect the time series change types. Then, jet colormap and HSV colorization may be used to vividly visualize the detection results. These methods have been successfully applied to monitor farmland area, urban area, harbor region, and flooding area changes. Note de contenu : Introduction

[Termes IGN] potentiel de pesanteur terrestreRésumé : (auteur) Clock comparisons with an uncertainty at the 10−18 in terms of relative frequency can provide a new kind of measurement to improve our knowledge of Earth’s gravity field and geoid. Instead of using state-of-the-art Earth’s gravitational field models to predict frequency shifts between distant clocks, they could permit determining geopotential differences at a centimeter-level accuracy, and question the possibility of studying geodynamic processes leading to very small vertical deformations or improve the unification of height systems. In our previous work dealing with the geopotential determination at high spatial resolution in mountainous regions, we have pointed out that clock-based geodetic observable can provide useful information at spatial scales beyond what is available from satellites and they could be used to fill areas not covered by the gravity data on the ground. Our synthetic simulations have shown that adding few clock-based potential data to a gravimetric data set can significantly improve the reconstruction of the geopotential. Therefore, it turns out there is a large variety of possible clock distribution allowing to reduce the reconstruction residuals, with different locations and number of clocks. In this work, we investigate ways to optimize clock network from a gravimetric data set in the Massif Central region in order to know where to put them to minimize the residuals and improve further the determination of the geopotential. To do that, we have used a multi-objective genetic algorithm (GA). Starting from a random initial population with different clock distributions, the algorithm selects clock locations with good chances of reproduction and reproduces the new generation of clock locations using genetic operators. The process depends on some objectives we want to reach in order to solve the optimization problem, and it is repeated several times for a given number of generations or until a solution considered as optimum is found. We show how GA can help to provide optimal solutions for a problem with a fixed and variable number of clock locations. We discuss the effect of different parameters, such as the way to define the objectives and the constrains of the problem, the quality of the clock network and the data. Note de contenu : Introduction

[Termes IGN] teneur verticale totale en électronsRésumé : (Auteur) Real-time single-frequency precise point positioning (RT-SF-PPP) has become a desired positioning approach because it can achieve high positioning accuracy with a low-cost global navigation satellite system (GNSS) chipset or receiver. For single-frequency precise point positioning (SF-PPP) applications, the ionospheric delay is a dominant error source, and thus the quality of applied ionospheric products is critical to the performance of SF-PPP. To meet the demands of the RT-SF-PPP users, the international GNSS service (IGS) is planning to provide open-access real-time ionospheric products. By now, the Centre National d’Études Spatiales (CNES) is the only IGS analysis center (AC) to broadcast real-time ionospheric vertical total electron content (VTEC) message through its real-time service (RTS). The quality of the CNES real-time ionospheric products is drawing increasing attention from the GNSS community. We evaluate the quality of CNES real-time VTEC message both in the ionospheric correction domain and positioning domain. First, 374 consecutive days of CNES VTEC products are collected and compared with the IGS final global ionospheric map (GIM) products. Second, slant total electron content (STEC) computed with CNES VTEC message is fully assessed with respect to STEC derived from dual-frequency GNSS measurements. Finally, RT-SF-PPP is conducted for assessing the quality of CNES real-time ionospheric products in the positioning domain. The degree and order of the spherical harmonic expansions broadcasted in the CNES VTEC messages changed from 6 to 12 in the time span of collected data, the effects of higher degree and order parameters are investigated at the same time in the experiments above.
