[Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (Auteur) The recent development of the Galileo space segment and the accompanying support of the International GNSS Service (IGS) allows for worldwide Galileo-only positioning. In this study, different techniques of dual-frequency absolute positioning using the fully serviceable Galileo constellation are evaluated for the first time and compared to the performance of GPS positioning. The daily static positioning based on the broadcast ephemeris using Galileo pseudoranges is significantly more accurate than the corresponding GPS solutions, obtaining the accuracy of a few decimeters. In the kinematic mode, the accuracy is better than 10 m and 20 m for the horizontal and vertical components, respectively, which is comparable to that of GPS. Precise absolute positioning using pseudorange and carrier phase Galileo observations combined with IGS Real-Time Service (RTS) or Multi-GNSS Experiment products is not yet as good as the corresponding GPS solutions. In the static mode, the root mean squared error (RMSE) between estimated and reference coordinates does not exceed 0.05 m and 0.06 m for the horizontal and vertical components, respectively. In the kinematic mode, the respective accuracies are better than 0.17 m and 0.21 m. Moreover, we show that both GPS and Galileo pseudorange solutions benefit from the RTS when compared to the broadcast solutions with the improvement in the accuracy between 10 and 59%. Remarkable results are achieved for Galileo Precise Point Positioning (PPP) solutions based on the broadcast ephemeris. In the static mode, the RMSE is 0.07 and 0.10 m for the horizontal and vertical components which is three and two times better, respectively, then the corresponding solutions based on GPS. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) With the development of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), multi-GNSS is expected to greatly benefit precise point positioning (PPP), especially during the outage of real time service (RTS). In this paper, we focus on the performance of multi-GNSS satellite clock prediction and its application in real-time PPP. Based on the statistical analysis of multi-system satellite clock products, a model consisting of polynomial and periodic terms is employed for multi-system satellite clock prediction. To evaluate the method proposed, both post-processed and real-time satellite clock products are employed in simulated real-time processing mode. The results show that the accuracy of satellite clock prediction is related to atomic clock type and satellite type. For GPS satellites, the average standard deviations (STDs) of Cs atomic clocks will reach as high as 0.65 ns while the STD of Rb atomic clocks is only about 0.15 ns. As for BDS and Galileo, the average STD of 2-hour satellite clock prediction are 0.30 ns and 0.06 ns, respectively. In addition, it is validated that real-time PPP can still achieve positioning accuracy of one to three decimeters by using products of 2-hour satellite clock prediction. Moreover, compared to the results of GPS-only PPP, multi-system can greatly enhance the accuracy of real-time PPP from 12.5% to 18.5% in different situations. As bike borrowing and return at different stations in different periods are not balanced, the bikes in a bike‐sharing system need to be redistributed frequently to rebalance the system. Therefore, traffic flow forecasting of the bike‐sharing system is an important issue, as this is conducive to achieving rebalancing of the bike system. In this article, we present a new traffic flow prediction approach based on the temporal links in dynamic traffic flow networks. A station clustering algorithm is first introduced to cluster stations into groups. A temporal link prediction method based on the dynamic traffic flow network method (STW+M) is then proposed to predict the traffic flow between stations. In our method, the non‐negative tensor decomposition and time‐series analysis model capture the rich information (temporal variabilities, spatial characteristics, and weather information) of the across‐clusters transition. Then, a temporal link prediction strategy is used to forecast potential links and weights in the traffic flow network by investigating both the network structure and the results of tensor computations. In order to assess the methods proposed in this article, we have used the data of bike‐sharing systems in New York and Washington, DC to conduct bike traffic prediction and the experimental results have shown that our method produces the lowest root mean square error (RMSE) and mean square error (MSE). Compared to four prediction methods from the literature, our RMSE and MSE of the two datasets have been lowered by an average of 2.55 (Washington, DC) and 2.41 (New York) and 3.35 (Washington, DC) and 2.96 (New York), respectively. The results show that the proposed approach improves predictions of traffic flow. Unfortunately, this idea is not fully utilized in vehicle detection from high-resolution aerial images, and most of the existing methods may be promoted by considering the variability of vehicle spatial distribution in different image scenes and treating vehicle detection tasks scene-specific. With this motivation, a scene context-driven vehicle detection method is proposed in this paper. At first, we perform scene classification using the deep learning method and, then, detect vehicles in roads and parking lots separately through different vehicle detectors. Afterward, we further optimize the detection results using different postprocessing rules according to different scene types. Experimental results show that the proposed approach outperforms the state-of-the-art algorithms in terms of higher detection accuracy rate and lower false alarm rate. [Termes IGN] vitesseRésumé : (auteur) This paper describes a non-contact methodology for computing river discharge based on data collected from small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). The approach is complete in that both surface velocity and channel geometry are measured directly under field conditions. The technique does not require introducing artificial tracer particles for computing surface velocity, nor does it rely upon the presence of naturally occurring floating material. Moreover, no prior knowledge of river bathymetry is necessary. Due to the weight of the sensors and limited payload capacities of the commercially available sUAS used in the study, two sUAS were required. The first sUAS included mid-wave thermal infrared and visible cameras. For the field evaluation described herein, a thermal image time series was acquired and a particle image velocimetry (PIV) algorithm used to track the motion of structures expressed at the water surface as small differences in temperature. The ability to detect these thermal features was significant because the water surface lacked floating material (e.g., foam, debris) that could have been detected with a visible camera and used to perform conventional Large-Scale Particle Image Velocimetry (LSPIV). The second sUAS was devoted to measuring bathymetry with a novel scanning polarizing lidar. We collected field measurements along two channel transects to assess the accuracy of the remotely sensed velocities, depths, and discharges. Thermal PIV provided velocities that agreed closely ( R2 = 0.82 and 0.64) with in situ velocity measurements from an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP). Depths inferred from the lidar closely matched those surveyed by wading in the shallower of the two cross sections ( R2 = 0.95), but the agreement was not as strong for the transect with greater depths ( R2 = 0.61).
