L'arrivée de solution dédiée au grand public, telle que Google Maps, a fait exploser la demande et grandement amélioré la qualité des logiciels de webmapping. Les techniques et technologies permettent à présent de développer des sites cartographiques interactifs extrêmement complexes et complets qui tendent à concurrencer les applications SIG desktop que sont les produits ESRI ou MapInfo. C'est dans ce contexte qu'intervient Makina Corpus, jeune société fortement impliquée dans le développement Open Source, spécialisée dans la gestion de contenu, le travail collaboratif et les systèmes d'information géographique. Forte de ses huit agences, Makina Corpus se repose sur les solutions Open Source pour proposer des offres sur mesure, performantes, extensibles et standards. Le stage est organisé selon deux axes interdépendants : prendre en main et évaluer une nouvelle solution de webmapping, MapFish, et contribuer aux logiciels libres utilisés dans le cadre de ce travail. Du fait des contraintes physiques et topographiques de la zone, le Canal de Provence représente un exemple original de transfert d'eau à buts multiples en dehors du bassin versant d'une rivière, en vue de satisfaire tous les besoins d'une région voisine et de réaliser une opération globale d'aménagement hydraulique. La société du Canal de Provence a mis au point le système de régulation dynamique. Il a été conçu pour gérer les réserves et assurer le transport de l'eau à la fois sans défaillance et sans pertes : l'utilisateur reçoit à tout moment toute l'eau demandée, mais seulement l'eau demandée. La reconstruction de mesure est une brique supplémentaire qui vient s'ajouter au système de régulation dynamique. Le présent document présente un travail de fin d'étude qui s'inscrit dans ce cadre.
