For the past two decades, the model has been developed to provide visual assistance for assessing the quality information in metadata and quantifying the degree of metadata population. Still, there is a need to develop a framework that can be generic to adopt all the standards available for Geospatial Metadata. The computational analysis of metadata for specific applications remains uncharted for investigations and studies. This work proposes a computational framework for Geospatial Metadata by integrating TopicMaps and Hypergraphs (HXTM) based on the elements and their dependency relationships. A purpose-built dataset extracted from schemas of various standardisation organisations and existing knowledge in the discipline is utilised to model the framework and thereby evaluate ranking strategies. Hypergraph-Helly Property based Weight-Assignment Algorithm (HHWA) have been proposed for HXTM framework to calculate Stable weights for Metadata Elements. Recursive use of Helly-property ensures predominant elements, while Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method is used to compute standard weights. A real corpus using case studies from FGDC's Standard for Geospatial Metadata, INSPIRE Metadata Standards, and ISRO Metadata Content Standard (NSDI 2.0) is used to validate the proposed framework. The observations show that the Information Gain (Entropy) of the proposed model along with the algorithm proves to be computationally smart for quantification purposes and visualises the strength of Metadata Elements for all applications. A prototype tool, `MetDEVViz- MetaData Editor, Validator &Visualization' is designed to exploit the benefits of the proposed algorithm for the case studies that acts as a web service to provide a user interface for editing, validating and visualizing metadata elements. [Termes IGN] voxelRésumé : (auteur) This paper presents the development of a 3D visibility analysis model that consist a combination of objective calculations and a subjective evaluation, representing the value of the view and its possible impact on the perception of a viewer. The model, developed in Matlab, has default weightings for different elements of the view, which can be changed in accordance to future users. A bounding box, defined as working area consisting buildings and topography, is divided into equal-size voxels and sub-voxels for higher accuracy. This model may be further developed for use in practice to support a sustainable future urban environment. [Termes IGN] validation des donnéesMots-clés libres : Game With A Purpose Résumé : (Auteur) Land cover datasets are critical environmental information which are becoming increasingly available nowadays as open data. Accuracy of these datasets is key for their use in manifold applications and can be obtained through validation processes, e.g., the intercomparison with other existing land cover data. The results of this procedure usually highlight disagreements between the compared products which should be further analyzed. The presented work has the aim to address this need by proposing an innovative crowdsourcing-based game that engages citizens in validating disagreements between land cover datasets. The game was played during the Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial (FOSS4G) Europe Conference 2015 by the conference participants and allowed to evaluate the disagreements between the GlobeLand30 and the DUSAF land cover datasets on the Como city area (Italy). The results show the feasibility of the proposed approach and the potentiality of gaming in user engagement for land cover validation campaigns. GRAPHOS includes some recent innovations in the image‐based 3D reconstruction pipeline, from automatic feature detection/description and network orientation to dense image matching and quality control. GRAPHOS also has a strong educational component beyond its automated processing functions, reinforced with tutorials and didactic explanations about algorithms and performance. The paper highlights recent developments carried out at different levels: graphical user interface (GUI), didactic simulators for image processing, photogrammetric processing with weight parameters, dataset creation and system evaluation.
