[Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) As data gaps and gross errors inevitably exist in GPS time series, robust detection and interpolation procedures are needed to obtain a uniform time series for various geospatial studies and applications. The use of traditional methods for this purpose is usually based on some improper assumptions, which are not derived based on the real properties of the data. Moreover, different interpolation methods may need to be investigated for interpolation for various gaps with different types and amount of missing data. These make the interpolation for missing data not easy. To address the issue of mentioned above, in this study, a data-analysis method named singular spectrum analysis (SSA) for missing data is assessed for reconstructing a reliable model from unevenly sampled time series without the need for any a priori knowledge of the time series data. In this method, the interpolation and detection of gross errors are carried out in one go along with the reliable reconstructed model. Both simulation data and real GPS data testing results showed that this was an efficient method for interpolation and gross error detection. [Termes IGN] vitesseRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents an image motion model for airborne three-line-array (TLA) push-broom cameras. Both aircraft velocity and attitude instability are taken into account in modeling image motion. Effects of aircraft pitch, roll, and yaw on image motion are analyzed based on geometric relations in designated coordinate systems. The image motion is mathematically modeled by image motion velocity multiplied by exposure time. Quantitative analysis to image motion velocity is then conducted in simulation experiments. The results have shown that image motion caused by aircraft velocity is space invariant while image motion caused by aircraft attitude instability is more complicated. Pitch, roll, and yaw all contribute to image motion to different extents. Pitch dominates the along-track image motion and both roll and yaw greatly contribute to the cross-track image motion. These results provide a valuable base for image motion compensation to ensure high accuracy imagery in aerial photogrammetry. [Termes IGN] visualisation de donnéesRésumé : (Auteur) With the development of geographic information science and the progress in the research of scientific visualisation, the visualisation of multivariate geospatial data has attracted much attention. This paper discusses an IconMap-based visualisation technique that enables multiple geospatial variables be represented in a single raster layer. This is achieved by extending the conventional pixel-based image structure to the three-tiered iconic design. Thereby the spatial pattern generated by the interaction between multivariate geographic variables can be disclosed, and the goal of geospatial data mining is achieved. A visualisation case study on soil organic matter and nutrients for the Shuangliu County of Chengdu City, China, was performed using the proposed approach. The result shows that the static IconMap can better display the distribution tendency of the high-end and low-end soil organic matter and nutrients, and that the dynamic IconMap can both reflect the interaction between the organic matter and the nutrients variables, and display the soil fertility levels in a comprehensive way. Thus, the IconMap-based visualisation approach is a non-fused, exploratory analytical approach for multivariate data and valuable for visually analyse the soil fertility condition. [Termes IGN] test de performanceRésumé : (Auteur) Spatial clustering is the process of grouping similar objects based on their distance, connectivity, or rel-ative density in space. It has been employed in the field of spatial analysis for years. In order to select the prop-er spatial clustering methods for geospatial information systems, we need to consider the characteristics of different clustering methods, relative to the objectives that we are trying to achieve. In this paper, we give a detailed discussion of different types of clustering methods from a data mining perspective. Analysis of the advantages and limitations of some classical clustering methods are given. Subsequently we discuss applying spatial clustering methods as part of geospatial information systems, with respect to distance functions, data models, non-spatial attributes and performance.
