[Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (auteur) The perspective distortion of oblique images has a substantial impact on dense matching, i.e., it reduces the matching precision. In this article, a strategy of dense matching in which the object plane direction is considered is proposed. According to many regular planes in urban areas, epipolar rectification with minimum distortions relative to the selected reference planes can be generated. The matching results of epipolar images relative to various reference planes are weighted and fused into a single depth map, which is a better matching result. The experimental results demonstrate that the perspective distortion has a substantial influence on the dense matching performance. The root-mean-square error (RMSE) of the flatness for horizontal objects is increased by approximately 30%, and the RMSE of the flatness for façades is increased by approximately 40%. Hence, the proposed matching strategy, in which the object plane is considered, can effectively improve the matching results. [Termes IGN] téléphone intelligentRésumé : (auteur) Fine-scale population mapping is of great significance for capturing the spatial and temporal distribution of the urban population. Compared with traditional census data, population data obtained from mobile phone data has high availability and high real-time performance. However, the spatial distribution of base stations is uneven, and the service boundaries remain uncertain, which brings significant challenges to the accuracy of dasymetric population mapping. This paper proposes a Grid Voronoi method to provide reliable spatial boundaries for base stations and to build a subsequent regression based on mobile phone and building use data. The results show that the Grid Voronoi method gives high fitness in building use regression, and further comparison between the traditional ordinary least squares (OLS) regression model and geographically weighted regression (GWR) model indicates that the building use data can well reflect the heterogeneity of urban geographic space. This method provides a relatively convenient and reliable idea for capturing high-precision population distribution, based on mobile phone and building use data. [Termes IGN] télédétectionRésumé : (auteur) Mapping urban structures is a vital prerequisite for urban planners to enhance their database for a liveable city dedicated to sustainable development. Therefore, it is significant to measure urban grey and green structures at the scale of local districts to understand the urban structure and residential needs for urban ecosystem services. For a detailed analysis we exploit digital orthophotos (DOP), LiDAR data, and vital statistics. We use remote sensing techniques to create an Object-based Image Analysis (OBIA) that differentiates grey and green structures with high precision and at refined scale. This spatial information is linked with allocated population and health-related indicators to identify built-up types with highest population densities and local districts with deficits in the provision of different green structures. Our results show the share of built-up structures and the contribution of green structures to urban ecosystem services, human health and well-being at local district level. [Termes IGN] segmentationRésumé : (auteur) The LiDAR technology is a means of urban 3D modeling in recent years, and the extraction of buildings is a key step in urban 3D modeling. In view of the complexity of most airborne LiDAR building point cloud extraction algorithms that need to combine multiple feature parameters, this study proposes a building point cloud extraction method based on the combination of the Point Cloud Library (PCL) region growth segmentation and the histogram. The filtered LiDAR point cloud is segmented by using the PCL region growth method, and then the local normal vector and direction cosine are calculated for each cluster after segmentation. Finally, the histogram is generated to effectively separate the building point cloud from the non-building.Two sets of airborne LiDAR data in the south and west parts of Tokushima, Japan, are used to test the feasibility of the proposed method. The results are compared with those of the commercial software TerraSolid and the K-means algorithm. Results show that the proposed extraction algorithm has lower type I and II errors and better extraction effect than that of the TerraSolid and the K-means algorithm.
