[Termes IGN] tomographie par GPSRésumé : (Auteur) Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) tomography provides 3-D reconstructions of atmosphere wet refractivity, related to water vapor. A simulated analysis of the integration of Global Positioning System and future Galileo data is presented. Atmospheric refractivity is derived from radiosonde data acquired over the Lisbon area. The impact of Galileo data on the tomographic reconstruction is assessed. Furthermore, horizontal anomalies are added to a reference vertical profile of atmospheric refractivity to reproduce low-level dry or wet air intrusions, a phenomenon commonly observed in meteorological data acquired by both radiosonde and satellites. The dependence of tomographic solution on the GNSS network density is also analyzed. Better reconstruction capabilities in the lower layers are observed when increasing the network density. [Termes IGN] température au solRésumé : (auteur) This research addressed the effects of downscaling cokriging Land Surface Temperature (LST) on estimation of Actual Evapotranspiration (AET) from remote sensing images. Two procedures were followed. We first applied downscaling cokriging to a coarse resolution LST product of MODIS at 1000 m. With its outcome, daily AET of a medium spatial resolution (250 m) was obtained using the Surface Energy Balance System (SEBS). Second, we downscaled a coarse AET map to medium spatial resolution (250 m). For both procedures, the 250 m resolution MODIS NDVI product was used as a co-variable. Validation was carried out using Landsat 8 images, from which LST was derived from the thermal bands. The two procedures were applied to an agricultural area with a traditional irrigation network in Iran. We obtained an average LST value of 305.8 K as compared to a downscaled LST value of 307.0 K. Reference AET estimated with SEBS using Landsat 8 data was equal to 5.756 mm day−1, as compared with a downscaled AET value of 5.571 mm day−1. The RMSE between reference AET and downscaled AET was equal to 1.26 mm day−1 (r = 0.49) and between reference and downscaled LST to 3.67 K (r = 0.48). The study showed that AET values obtained with the two downscaling procedures were similar to each other, but that AET showed a higher spatial variability if obtained with downscaled LST. We concluded that LST had a large effect on producing AET maps from Remote Sensing (RS) images, and that downscaling cokriging was helpful to provide daily AET maps at medium spatial resolution. [Termes IGN] sous-boisRésumé : (auteur) Ecological functions of a black alder riparian forest (Aegopodio-Alnetum glutinosae) as capacities for the provision of ecosystem services were analysed and indicated by an inductive (bottom-up) approach. In July 2015, species richness and diversity of the forest stand were analysed in Hlboká valley, near Husárka water reservoir, Tríbeč Mountains, western Slovakia, by phytocoenological relevé, aboveground biomass of the herb layer and litter mass were estimated by a harvest method. The quantitative data obtained for the forest vegetation were used for estimation of capacities (potentials) of the floodplain forest to provide non-market ecosystem services. The forage, melliferous and therapeutic potential were estimated and calculated by Jurko’s methods of ecological and socio-economic evaluations of vegetation. Aboveground biomass (production potential) of the forest understorey community was relatively high (seasonal maximum standing crop 59.03 g·m–2 in dry mass). The result of evaluation of the forage potential of the alder forest was higher than 50%, it means medium forage quality community. The melliferous potential was evaluated close to 190% (= high potential). The share of medicinal plants in the studied plant community was higher than 30%, referred to as extremely rich therapeutic potential. The analyses confirmed that the forest community represents high potentials for providing production ecosystem services. [Termes IGN] station de référenceRésumé : (auteur) Ambiguity resolution (AR) speed is one of the most important performance indicators of a network RTK (real-time kinematics) system. Given the low correlation between the error sources of two stations, the effect of the atmospheric delay of double-difference observations cannot be ignored, thus making it difficult to fix the ambiguities. Ionospheric delay is one of the largest error sources affecting AR. This error source is reduced by the ionospheric-free combination with traditional methods. The AR speed of these methods is slow; generally, tens of minutes and even more are required for initialization. This study proposes an ionospheric model constraint (IMC) method to improve the AR speed. External information is not required apart from observations. The double-difference ionospheric delay is described with a regional double-difference ionospheric model, the coefficients of which are estimated as parameters together with ambiguities and tropospheric delays. Experimental results show that the initialization speed significantly improves by 72.5 % and that the AR speed for the newly risen satellites increases by 84.3 % with the proposed IMC method. Furthermore, the percentage of correctly fixed integer ambiguities after initialization increases to some extent.
