[Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (Auteur) Raw observation processing method with prior knowledge of ionospheric delay could strengthen the ambiguity resolution (AR), but it does not make full use of the relatively longer wavelength of wide-lane (WL) observation. Furthermore, the accuracy of calculated atmospheric delays from the regional augmentation information has quite different in quality, while the atmospheric constraint used in the current methods is usually set to an empirical value. A proper constraint, which matches the accuracy of calculated atmospheric delays, can most effectively compensate the residual systematic biases caused by large inter-station distances. Therefore, the standard deviation of the residual atmospheric parameters should be fine-tuned. This paper presents an atmosphere-constrained AR method for undifferenced network RTK (URTK) rover, whose ambiguities are sequentially fixed according to their wavelengths. Furthermore, this research systematically analyzes the residual atmospheric error and finds that it mainly varies along the positional relationship between the rover and the chosen reference stations. More importantly, its ionospheric part of certain location will also be cyclically influenced every day. Therefore, the standard deviation of residual ionospheric error can be modeled by a daily repeated cosine or other functions with the help of data one day before, and applied by rovers as pseudo-observation. With the data collected at 29 stations from a continuously operating reference station network in Guangdong Province (GDCORS) in China, the efficiency of the proposed approach is confirmed by improving the success and error rates of AR for 10-20 % compared to that of the WL-L1-IF one, as well as making much better positioning accuracy. [Termes IGN] vapeur d'eauRésumé : (auteur) Although Global Positioning System (GPS) primarily provide accurate estimates of position, velocity and time of the receiver, as the signals pass through the atmoshphere carrying its signatures, thus offers opportunities for atmoshpheric applications. Precipitable water vapor (PWV) is a vital component of the atmosphere and significantly influences atmospheric processes like rainfall and atmospheric temperature. The developing networks of continuously operating GPS can be used to efficiently estimate PWV. The Turkish Permanent GPS Network (TPGN) is employed to monitor PWV information in Turkey. This work primarily aims to derive long-term data of PWV by using atmospheric path delays observed through continuously operating TPGN from November 2014 to October 2015. A least square mathematical approach was then applied to establish the relation of the observed PWV to rainfall and temperature. The modeled PWV was correlated with PWV estimated from GPS data, with an average correlation of 67.10 %–88.60 %. The estimated root mean square error (RMSE) varied from 2.840 to 6.380, with an average of 4.697. Finally, data of TPGN, rainfall, and temperature were obtained for less than 2 months (November 2015 to December 2015) and assessed to validate the mathematical model. This study provides a basis for determining PWV by using rainfall and temperature data. [Termes IGN] verticaleRésumé : (auteur) To understand general ionosphere properties over Serbia, an analysis of temporal and spatial ionosphere Total Electron Content (TEC) over the region was performed. The present research focuses on daily, seasonal and spatial ionosphere variations, based on TEC series calculated from the GNSS ie. GPS measurements. This analysis provides for characterization of ionosphere nature and fine structure over Serbia, both locally and regionally. For the days with high solar activity changes of TEC values ranges from minimum 4 Total Electron Content Units (TECU), in night hours, up to 55 TECU around the noon. It is shown that that changes are equivalent to the delay of GPS signals approximately 8.8 m in vertical direction during the (maximum) daily conditions and the delay of 0.6 m during the (minimum) night conditions. Also, it is shows that a seasonal TEC differences follows directly Sun activity during the seasons, and maximal differences of TEC values between the seasons reaching values of 45 TECU, again in the years of high Sun’s activities. For spatial changes all gained results indicate that there exist changes in all directions which cannot be recognized as constant bias or a trend. [Termes IGN] signal BeiDouRésumé : (Auteur) The latest generation of GNSS satellites such as GPS BLOCK-IIF, Galileo and BDS are transmitting signals on three or more frequencies, thus having more choices in practice. At the same time, new challenges arise for integrating the new signals. This paper contributes to the modeling and assessment of triple-frequency PPP with BDS data. First, three triple-frequency PPP models are developed. The observation model and stochastic model are designed and extended to accommodate the third frequency. In particular, new biases such as differential code biases and inter-frequency biases as well as the parameterizations are addressed. Then, the relationships between different PPP models are discussed. To verify the triple-frequency PPP models, PPP tests with real triple-frequency data were performed in both static and kinematic scenarios. Results show that the three triple-frequency PPP models agree well with each other. Additional frequency has a marginal effect on the positioning accuracy in static PPP tests. However, the benefits of third frequency are significant in situations of where there is poor tracking and contaminated observations on frequencies B1 and B2 in kinematic PPP tests. [Termes IGN] surface de la merRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents a simulation study on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reflections focusing on a phase altimetric method for ocean topography retrieval. It examines carrier phase residuals of Earth-reflected GNSS signals in preparation for the GNSS Reflectometry Radio Occultation and Scatterometry experiment aboard the International Space Station (GEROS-ISS). The residuals' sensitivity to ocean topography (maximum of 2-m amplitude variation of global sea level) is shown. A trigonometric approach to determine the specular reflection point is proposed. Reflection events are simulated assuming different low Earth orbit receivers and GNSS-type transmitters. Suitable events for phase altimetry are assumed between 5° and 30° elevation lasting between 10 and 15 min with ground tracks length of > 3000 km. Typical along-track footprints (1 s integration time) have a length of about 5 km. Within the assumed elevation range the coherent footprint ellipse has a major axis between 1 and 6 km. A Master-Slave sampling is proposed to approximate large-scale delay and Doppler variations of the reflected signal (Slave channel) relative to the direct signal (Master channel). Slave residuals of an example event are simulated to retrieve a small-scale phase delay for ocean topography inversion. The signal-to-noise ratio restricts the quality of the topography results. Height precision on sub-decimeter level for 30-dB SNR is degraded up to a meter level for 20-dB SNR. Ionosphere-free linear combination allows keeping the precision level. Troposphere refraction degrades precision particularly at the low elevation limit. Precision improves toward higher elevations. The tolerance to ocean roughness decreases in the same way.
