[Termes IGN] vapeur d'eauRésumé : (auteur) The rapid development of multi-Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs, e.g., BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, and GPS) and the International GNSS Service (IGS) Multi-GNSS Experiment (MGEX) brings great opportunities and challenges for real-time determination of tropospheric zenith total delays (ZTDs) and integrated water vapor (IWV) to improve numerical weather prediction, particularly for nowcasting or severe weather event monitoring. In this paper, we develop a multi-GNSS model to fully exploit the potential of observations from all currently available GNSSs for enhancing real-time ZTD/IWV processing. A prototype multi-GNSS real-time ZTD/IWV monitoring system is also designed and realized at the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) based on the precise point positioning technique. The ZTD and IWV derived from multi-GNSS stations are carefully analyzed and compared with those from collocated Very Long Baseline Interferometry and radiosonde stations. The performance of individual GNSS is assessed, and the significant benefit of multi-GNSS for real-time water vapor retrieval is also evaluated. The statistical results show that accuracy of several millimeters with high reliability is achievable for the multi-GNSS-based real-time ZTD estimates, which corresponds to about 1- to 1.5-mm accuracy for the IWV. The ZTD/IWV with improved accuracy and reliability would be beneficial for atmospheric sounding systems, particularly for time-critical geodetic and meteorological applications. [Termes IGN] signal GNSSRésumé : (auteur) The Geospatial information authority of Japan conducted a research and development project from 2011 to 2014 on the smart use of multi-GNSS signals for more efficient surveying and precise positioning essential in the management of national Lands. The project aims to combine signals from various satellite positioning systems, such as GPS, QZSS, GLONASS, and Galileo, collectively called GNSS, to achieve centimeter-level positional accuracy in a short period of time, especially in urban or mountainous areas where satellite visibility is limited. Four years of effort on the smart use and tourism yielded technical outputs such as 1) methods to handle between-receiver biases to combine multi-GNSS signals, 2) Open source software for multi-GNSS surveying named GSILIB, 3) A draft manual of multi-GNSS surveying applicable to public public surveys in Japan. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) PPP-RTK extends the PPP concept by providing single-receiver users, next to orbits and clocks, also information about the satellite phase and code biases, thus enabling single-receiver ambiguity resolution. It is the goal of the present contribution to provide an analytical study of the quality of the PPP-RTK corrections as well as of their impact on the user ambiguity resolution performance. We consider the geometry-free and the geometry-based network derived corrections, as well as the impact of network ambiguity resolution on these corrections. Next to the insight that is provided by the analytical solutions, the closed form expressions of the variance matrices also demonstrate how the corrections depend on network parameters such as number of epochs, number of stations, number of satellites, and number of frequencies. As a result we are able to describe in a qualitative sense how the user ambiguity resolution performance is driven by the data from the different network scenarios. [Termes IGN] test de performanceRésumé : (auteur) As the satellite constellation, frequency structure, time and coordinate reference system of the Chinese BeiDou are all different from those of GPS, the quality of observations is also supposed to be different from GPS. At the same time, the positioning performance of the GPS and BeiDou combined system should be much better in view of the availability of more visible satellites. The purpose of this paper is to assess the quality of BeiDou pseudorange and carrier phase observation, and to compare the performance of GPS, BeiDou and the combined system in terms of availability, integrity and positioning accuracy with practical data in Hong Kong. The experiment results showed that the noise and multipath of GEOs (geostationary earth orbit satellites) pseudorange measurement fluctuates within 1.5 m, while the variations of IGSOs (geostationary earth orbit inclined geosynchronous orbit satellites) and MEOs (medium earth orbit satellites) are more obvious. The amplitudes of the triple-carrier combination of time series of GEOs, IGSOs and MEOs carrier phase measurements are 4, 6, and 6 mm, respectively. In addition, the absolute and relative positioning precision of BeiDou is very similar to that of GPS, and the performance of the combined systems is best.
