The accuracy is of utmost significance, yet the intention is also to find the best possible solutions for data acquisition in economic terms. The objective of the research was the analysis of various variants of the bundle block adjustment. The analysis concerns data which is diversified with respect to the type of shutter (rolling/global), the measurement of external orientation elements, the overlap and the number of ground control points (GCPs). [Termes IGN] système d'information géographiqueRésumé : (auteur) Egypt is one Arab country that is vulnerable to flash floods caused by heavy and intensive rainfall. Different locations in Egypt are vulnerable to the hazards of flash floods, especially in Upper Egypt. Throughout history, Egypt witnessed a series of events of flash floods that lead to mortality, damages, and economic losses. The intensity and frequency of flash floods in Egypt vary from year to year according to a number of hydrological and climatological variables. Although several previous flash floods studies have been conducted in Egypt, studies on the governorate of Asyut are still limited. This study integrates the physical and social parameters in order to assess the vulnerability to flash floods. The objectives of this study are to shed light on flash floods in the study area, develop a vulnerability model to determine the regions vulnerable to the impacts of flash floods, and propose a flash flood alert system in the governorate of Asyut in Egypt to mitigate the impacts of flash floods and to avoid the loss of life and property. The AHP (analytical hierarchy process) is used for assigning the optimal criterion weight of the considered vulnerability parameters based on the responses of eight expert respondents to an online Google forms questionnaire. The highest weighted flash floods causative parameters are population density (27.4%), precipitation (22.1%), total population (16.4%), and elevation (10.2%), respectively. The results reveal that Asyut is one of the Egyptian governorates pro ne to flash floods’ impacts, especially in Dayrut, Al-Qusiyah, and Abnub, urban districts. The findings of this study are expected to be useful to policymakers and responsible authorities for better disaster risk management and for dealing with the flash floods events in the future. [Termes IGN] zone intertropicaleRésumé : (auteur) Coastal erosion is considered a major worldwide challenge. The vulnerability assessment of coastal areas, in relation to climate change, is a key topic of worldwide increasing interest. The integration of methodologies supported by Remote Sensing, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and in situ monitoring has allowed a viable identification of vulnerable areas to erosion. In the present study, a model was proposed to the assessment of the estuarine system of Cananéia-Iguape (Brazil), by applying the evaluation and prediction of vulnerability models for the conservation and preservation of mangroves. Approximately 1221 Km2 were classified, with 16% of the total presenting high and very high vulnerability to erosion. Other relevant aspects, were the identification and georeferencing sites that showed strong evidence of erosion and, thus, having a huge influence on the final vulnerability scores. The obtained results led to the development of a multidisciplinary approach through the application of a prediction and description model that resulted from the adaptation of the study system from a set of implemented models for coastal regions, in order to contribute to the erosion vulnerability assessment in the mangroves ecosystems (and associated localities, municipalities and communities). [Termes IGN] TéhéranRésumé : (auteur) Natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods together with the urban sprawl conducted by increasing the population make multi-temporal changes in building areas. Destruction, buildings’ renovation, and constructing new buildings are the main changes of the urban areas that should be detected to update three-dimensional city models. The results of performing three-dimensional changes detecting of high altitude objects such as buildings are more close to reality than the two-dimensional methods. In this study, a three-dimensional changes detection method is proposed based on digital elevation models (DEMs). In the first step of this proposed method, the normalized digital surface model (nDSM) is generated for timely datasets. Then, object-based image analysis is utilized by performing segmentation followed by the structural classification of DEMs. Differencing and comparing the multi-temporal classification maps as the third step of the proposed algorithm led to analyzing the occurred changes. The obtained results are evaluated in an urban area in Tehran, Iran, in a 9-year time interval. These results represent −9.7% decreasing rate in low-rise buildings and also −1.37% decreases in the ground. Moreover, the class of high-rise buildings increased for +16.4% which conforms to making new constructions in addition to the renovation of low-rise buildings. According to the area analyzing of the changes, 4.8% of the investigated study area has new constructions, 3.05% has buildings’ renovation, and 3.89% has destruction in that 9-year period.
