[Termes IGN] séismeRésumé : (auteur) We used both seismic and InSAR data to investigate the mechanism behind the 2011 Hawthorne (Nevada) earthquake swarm that occurred between March 15 and August 17, 2011. Regional seismic data were used to estimate the centroid depth and focal mechanism for nine earthquakes that occurred in this swarm, with magnitudes between Mw3.9 and Mw4.8. The inferred focal mechanisms indicate that the source of these earthquakes is normal faulting with a small left-lateral strike-slip component along the southwest direction. Three InSAR displacement maps covering the epicentral zone of the 2011 Hawthorne earthquakes were inverted to get a slip model. The slip distribution shows that the deformation source is characterized by normal faulting, consistent with our inferred focal mechanisms. Our results suggest that the seismogenic zone was in the tensile stress environment. The temporal and spatial evolutions of seismicity suggest that the 2011 Hawthorne swarm might be caused by aseismic slip. Therefore, the 2011 Hawthorne earthquake swarm may have been the result of aseismic slip under the regional tectonic stress, and had nothing to do with volcanic activity. However, the quantitative evidence for aseismic slip is limited to the indication that the geodetic moment is 15% greater than the seismic moment, which is near the level of uncertainty. [Termes IGN] TurquieRésumé : (Auteur) GNSS networks play an important role in monitoring the displacements, movements and deformations of the Earth’s crust and engineering buildings. In this study, we examine how GPS Precise Point Positioning (PPP) is able to determine the horizontal deformations with respect to the GPS network solution. For this purpose, 7 days data of 12 Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) in Turkey (CORS-TR), located in the western part of Turkey, are considered. The Bernese (v5.2)-derived coordinates over 7 days and the ones from four free online PPP services (CSRS, GAPS, APPS, Magic-PPP) are compared using the Bursa-Wolf coordinate transformation model. The errors from these transformations are used to define the RMS values of the PPP solutions in the local coordinate system. These values are relative to the GPS network solution. This fact leads to analysing how the PPP solutions are able to determine the horizontal deformations with respect to the network solution. From many experiments, in which the displacements belonging to the PPP solutions are simulated relative to the network solution, it has been shown that several ppm extensions or contractions may be determined using the free online PPP services. Therefore, we conclude that the online PPP services studied here may be used in 2D deformation studies as an alternative to the GPS network solutions. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) By the end of 2016, the Galileo constellation had 4 in-orbit validation (IOV) satellites and 14 full operational capability (FOC) satellites, 17 of which were able to transmit signal in November 2017. Galileo has already had early operational capability (EOC). To assess the latest performance of the Galileo-only precise point positioning (PPP) and the contribution of Galileo to the Multi-GNSS PPP solutions, observations collected at 16 Multi-GNSS Experiment (MGEX) stations over ten days are used to realize the various PPP cases. The statistical results show that the three-dimensional positioning accuracy of Galileo static and kinematic PPP can reach centimeter level and decimeter level after convergence, respectively. The contribution of Galileo can improve the positioning accuracy by 29.49%, 29.96% and 23.70% for GPS kinematic PPP and 11.03%, 10.59% and 11.07% for GPS/GLONASS kinematic PPP solutions in the north, east and up components, respectively. The average convergence time can be reduced by 45.48% for GPS-only kinematic PPP and by 11.04% for GPS/GLONASS solutions by adding Galileo observations. Moreover, adding Galileo observations shortens the average convergence time by 30.45% and 7.8% for GPS-only and GPS/GLONASS static PPP solutions, respectively. Although the convergent positioning results of GPS and GPS/GLONASS static PPP solutions after the addition of Galileo measurements do not demonstrate as significant improvement as those of the kinematic PPP solutions, the positioning accuracy of the GPS/Galileo static PPP solutions compared to the GPS-only static PPP still demonstrates an improvement of approximately 25% on the east component. Furthermore, the GPS/Galileo internal system time bias (ISB) and observation residual are analyzed. The results show that the noise level of the GPS L1/L2 signals and the negative impact of multipath errors on the GPS pseudo-range observations for the L1/L2 signals are greater than those of Galileo E1/E5a signals, resulting in the residuals of GPS ionosphere-free code observations larger than those of Galileo code observations. However, the phase observation residuals of GPS and Galileo are of the same magnitude. Additionally, the one-day GPS/Galileo ISB is quite stable. Its stability described by standard deviation is approximately 0.34 ns. [Termes IGN] transformation de HelmertRésumé : (Auteur) A non-distorting network connection is a complex procedure consisting of a local network adjustment and a subsequent Helmert transformation into the connection points without changing the scale, i.e. isometry transformation. Since a joint adjustment model proposed for this connection in the earlier publication did not turn out sufficient to create a detailed reliability description for the whole procedure, reference had to be made to the original two-step approach. The reliability measures for a joint model and for each of the above mentioned procedural steps of the connection are being analysed. It is shown that the reliability description as based on indices obtained from the joint model should be supplemented with the indices from the two-step model. A specific property of the connection concerning mutual controllability of coordinates of the connection points is formulated on the basis of the Helmert transformation. The theory is illustrated on some numerical examples.
