[Termes IGN] teneur intégrée en vapeur d'eauRésumé : (auteur) This work aims to provide a quick review of different experiments conducted in the past for the estimation of integrated water vapor content from shipborne GNSS receiver. This state of the art will be confronted with results obtained using GPS data acquired by the French Hydrographic Ship Borda on a cruise over Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, from Brest to Toulon in August 2015; the estimated IWV are compared with satellite observations (MODIS) and outputs from numerical weather prediction models (ERAI, ERA5, Arpege, Arome); while differences between GPS and MODIS retrievals reach almost 4 kg/m2 in terms of RMS, agreement is generally much better with numerical models (2 up to 3 kg/m2 in terms of RMS). Use of real-time orbit and clocks product is also investigated in order to assess the performance of near real-time GPS-IWV estimation for NWP purposes. We will draw out the prospects in terms of possibilities and opportunities for the use of shipborne GNSS IWV for meteorology and climatology. [Termes IGN] séismeRésumé : (auteur) Existing denoising algorithms often need to meet some premise assumptions and applicable conditions, such as the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) cannot be too low, and the noise needs to obey a specific distribution (such as Gaussian distribution) and to satisfy some properties (such as stationarity). For the desert noise that shares the same frequency band with the effective signal and has complex characteristics (nonlinear, nonstationary, and non-Gaussian), it is difficult to find a universally applicable method. In response to this problem, a multiscale geometric analysis (MGA) convolutional neural network (CNN) is proposed in this article. One of the most important features of the CNN is that it can extract data-rich intrinsic information from the training set without relying on a priori assumption. By introducing the CNN into the MGA, a new kind of denoising method can be created, which can achieve good results even under a low SNR. This article takes the nonsubsampled contourlet transform as an example to create a denoising network named NC-CNN for high-efficiency and intelligent denoising of desert seismic data. The processing results of synthetic seismic records and field seismic records prove that NC-CNN can effectively suppress the low-frequency noise (random noise and surface wave), and the effective signal almost has no energy loss. In addition, the reconstruction ability of the missing signals is also an advantage of this method. [Termes IGN] variation saisonnièreRésumé : (auteur) Homogenization is an important and crucial step to improve the usage of observational data for climate analysis. This work is motivated by the analysis of long series of GNSS Integrated Water Vapour (IWV) data which have not yet been used in this context. This paper proposes a novel segmentation method that integrates a periodic bias and a heterogeneous, monthly varying, variance. The method consists in estimating first the variance using a robust estimator and then estimating the segmentation and periodic bias iteratively. This strategy allows for the use of the dynamic programming algorithm that remains the most efficient exact algorithm to estimate the change-point positions. The statistical performance of the method is assessed through numerical experiments. An application to a real data set of 120 global GNSS stations is presented. The method is implemented in the R package GNSSseg that will be available on the CRAN. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (auteur) Techniques enabling precise point positioning with ambiguity resolution (PPP-AR) were developed over a decade ago. Several analysis centers of the International GNSS Service (IGS) have implemented such strategies into their software packages and are generating (experimental) PPP-AR products including satellite clock and bias corrections. While the IGS combines individual orbit and clock products as standard to provide a more reliable solution, interoperability of these new PPP-AR products must be confirmed before they can be combined. As a first step, all products are transformed into a common observable-specific representation of biases. It is then confirmed that consistency is only ensured by considering both clock and bias products simultaneously. As a consequence, the satellite clock combination process currently used by the IGS must be revisited to consider not only clocks but also biases. A combination of PPP-AR products from six analysis centers over a one-week period is successfully achieved, showing that alignment of phase clocks can be achieved with millimeter precision thanks to the integer properties of the clocks. In the positioning domain, PPP-AR solutions for all products show improved longitude estimates of daily static positions by nearly 60% over float solutions. The combined products generally provide equivalent or better results than individual analysis center contributions, for both static and kinematic solutions.
