First, the requirements for sampled images to ensure the effective learning of complex polyline generalization are analysed. To meet these requirements, new methods for segmenting complex polylines and sampling images are proposed. Second, using the proposed segmentation and sampling method, a use case for the learning of complex polyline generalization using the generative adversarial network model, Pix2Pix, is developed. Third, this use case is applied experimentally for the complex generalization of coastline data from a scale of 1:50,000 to 1:250,000. Additionally, contrast experiments are conducted to compare the proposed segmentation and sampling method with object-based and traditional fixed-size methods. Experimental results show that the images generated using the proposed method are superior to the other two methods in the learning and application of complex polyline generalization. The results generalized for the developed use case are globally reasonable and suitably accurate. [Termes IGN] rastérisationRésumé : (auteur) Forests are important dynamic systems which are widely attracted by wild fires worldwide. Due to the complexity and non-linearity of the causative forest fire problems, employing sophisticated hybrid evolutionary algorithms is a logical task to achieve a reliable approximation of this environmental threats. This estimate will provide the outline of priority areas for preventing activities and allocation of fire fighters’ stations, seeking to minimize possible damages caused by fires. This study aims at prioritizing the forest fire risk of Wassa West district of Ghana. The study considered static causative factors such as Land use and land cover (which include forest, built-ups and settlement areas), slope, aspect, linear features (water bodies and roads) and dynamic causative factors such as wind speed, precipitation, and temperature were used. The methods employed include a Hybrid Grey Relativity Analysis (HGRA) and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) techniques. The fuzzy sets integrated with AHP in a decision-making algorithm using geographic information system (GIS) was used to model the fire risk in the study area. FAHP and HGRA methods were used for estimating the importance (weights) of the effective factors in forest fire modelling. Based on their modelling methods, the expert ideas were used to express the relative importance and priority of the major criteria and sub-criteria in forest fire risk in the study area. The expert ideas were analyzed based on FAHP and HGRA. The major criteria models and fire risk model were presented based on these FAHP and HGRA weights. On the other hand, the spatial data of the sub criteria were provided and assembled in GIS environment to obtain the sub-criteria maps. Each sub-criterion map was converted to raster format and it was reclassified based on risks of its classes to fire occurrence. The maps of each major criterion were obtained by weighted overlay of its sub criteria maps considering to major criterion model in GIS environment. Finally, the map of fire risk was obtained by weighted overlay of major criteria maps considering to fire risk model in GIS. The results showed that the FAHP model showed superiority than HGRA in prioritizing forest fire risk of the study area in terms of statistical analysis with a standard deviation of 0.09277 m as compared to 0.1122 m respectively. The obtained fire risk map can be used as a decision support system for predicting of the future trends in the study area. The optimized structures of the proposed models could serve as a good alternative to traditional forest predictive models, and this can be a promisingly testament used for future planning and decision making in the proposed areas. It is also widely used in satellite imagery road extraction and, generally, can obtain accurate and extraction results. However, at present, the extraction of roads based on CNN still requires a lot of manual preparation work, and a large number of samples can be marked to achieve extraction, which has to take long drawing cycle and high production cost. In this article, a new CNN sample set production method is proposed, which uses the GPS trajectories of floating car as training set (GPSTasST), for the multilevel urban roads extraction from high-resolution remote sensing imagery. This method rasterizes the GPS trajectories of floating car into a raster map and uses the processed raster map to label the satellite image to obtain a road extraction sample set. CNN can extract roads from remote sensing imagery by learning the training set. The results show that the method achieves a harmonic mean of precision and recall higher than road extraction method from single data source while eliminating the manual labeling work, which shows the effectiveness of this work. [Termes IGN] rastérisationRésumé : (auteur) Ray tracing on the GPU has been synergistically operating alongside rasterisation in interactive rendering engines for some time now, in order to accurately capture certain illumination effects. In the same spirit, in this paper, we propose an implementation of progressive photon mapping entirely on the rasterisation pipeline, which is agnostic to the specific GPU architecture, in order to synthesise images at interactive rates. While any GPU ray tracing architecture can be used for photon mapping, performing ray traversal in image space minimises acceleration data structure construction time and supports arbitrarily complex and fully dynamic geometry. Furthermore, this strategy maximises data structure reuse by encompassing rasterisation, ray tracing and photon gathering tasks in a single data structure. Both eye and light paths of arbitrary depth are traced on multi-view deep G-buffers, and photon flux is gathered by a properly adapted multi-view photon splatting. In contrast to previous methods exploiting rasterisation to some extent, due to our novel indirect photon splatting approach, any event combination present in photon mapping is captured. We evaluate our method using typical test scenes and scenarios for photon mapping methods and show how our approach outperforms typical GPU-based progressive photon mapping. Most of these algorithms struggle to provide a seamless overlay between vector elements and an irregular terrain surface. Despite their importance, the physical characteristics of vector elements are often ignored, which distorts the surface of vector elements. For example, if vector elements that represent roads and rivers are simply overlaid on terrain, the phenomena of uneven surfaces and rivers going uphill may occur because of elevation fluctuation. To correct these deficiencies, terrain should be modified according to the physical characteristics of vectors. We propose a local terrain modification method: First, the elevation of terrain covered by vector elements is recalculated according to vectors’ physical characteristics. Second, the multigrid method is used to realize a smooth transition between the modified terrain and its surrounding area. Finally, by setting different transition ranges and comparing the visualization effects, rules are given for the selection of a suitable range. After modification, the terrain conforms to vectors’ physical characteristics, and the overall relief is undamaged. The proposed method was applied to a CPU–GPU parallel heterogeneous model and demonstrated a high level of performance.
