A summary of the proposals for geodetic positioning and baseline determination is given which includes a description of measurement techniques and comments on rank deficiency and error sources. An analysis of variance comparison of range, Doppler, and interferometric time delay to determine their relative geometric strength for baseline determination is included. An analytic examination of the effect of a priori constraints on positioning using simultaneous observations from two stations is presented. Dynamic point positioning and baseline determination using range and Doppler is examined in detail. Models for the error sources influencing dynamic positioning are developed. Included is a discussion of atomic clock stability, and range and Doppler observation error statistics based on random correlated atomic clock error are derived. Criteria for establishing observation schedules for optimum geometric strength for positioning solutions are examined. Results of geodetic positioning simulation studies are presented. Satellite interferometry results based on the double differencing of simultaneous interferometric phase measurements from two satellites are given. The effects of ephemeris and refraction errors and the nonsimultaneity of observation are considered. [Termes IGN] factorisation de CholeskyIndex. décimale : 30.10 Systèmes de référence et réseaux géodésiques Résumé : (Auteur) The theory of roundoff errors for linear equations is adapted and applied to a linear system of 350,000 unknowns, representing the normal equations of the U.S.-ground control network now being readjusted. The system is positive definite and sparse. Cholesky's algorithm is used. The equations are reordered in a way dictated by the Helmert blocking technique. The block design is based on nested dissection. A linear stochastic roundoff error propagation model is used. Two families of computers are considered that come close to representing the two extremal cases of true chopping and true rounding, the CDC 6600 (with the round-ing option set into effect) and the IBM 360. Structural properties of the U.S. net-work relevant to roundoff error propagation are thoroughly investigated. Next to the large size of the network, weight singularities from observations of extremely high accuracy cause some concern. Bounds on bias and standard deviation of the individual components of the solution vector are derived. They indicate that the new adjustment of the North American Datum (NAD) is feasible on both types of computers. [Termes IGN] résiduIndex. décimale : 30.32 Travaux de triangulation Résumé : (Auteur) [premier texte] The results obtained from 4O3 simultaneous latitude and longitude observations carried out with a Danjon Astrolabe in the period 1975.5 - 1976.9 at the satellite observation station Wettzell are discussed. The analysis of the residuals from the group adjustments indicated the existence of a magnitude and a Bonneau effect within most of the observations. From the 403 group results significant deviations of the twelf groups of stars from a fictitious mean group and of the three observers from a fictitious mean observer could be derived. After consideration of these deviations and reduction to CIO there remained temporal variations, namely besides of two instrumentally caused leaps in longitude a yearly variation in latitude of 0','O8 as well as variations in both coordinates with periods of half a year and of one year and with amplitudes between O','O4 and 0','09.
[second texte] The observations carried out with a Circumzenithal - Astrolabe VUGTK - CSSR at the satellite observation station Wettzell (Bayer. Wald) during May 1975 and November 1976 are discussed. A short description of the instrument and of the performance of the experiment is given. Investigations of systematical errors in the latitude and longitude values as well as in the residuals of the observations of the stars are performed. Within 542 days the 3 observers observed 544 groups comprising about 30 to 35 stars. The external accuracy of the longitude was determined to be 0'.'17 and that of the latitude OV13 after systematic effects such as personal equation and differences between the groups due to errors in the star positions were taken into account.Numéro de notice : 28270 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : POSITIONNEMENT Nature : Monographie Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=63613 Réservation
