[Termes IGN] qualité des donnéesRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents new methods for attribute and positional error simulation in vector Geographical Information Systems, and discusses various issues related to this topic. Attribute errors are simulated according to a new statistical model. Positional errors are simulated with algorithms that take correlation into account and thus reduce topological problems that arise in classical simulations. These algorithms constitute a complete toolbox suitable for most purposes, especially accuracy assessment and sensitivity analysis.
