[Vedettes matières IGN] AltimétrieRésumé : (Auteur) Tide gauge data is important for determining global or local sea level rise with respect to a global geocentric reference frame. Data from repeated precise levelling connections between the tide gauges and a series of coastal and inland benchmarks, including Continuous GPS (CGPS) benchmarks, are used to determine the stability of tide gauges at 12 locations in the South Pacific. The method for determining this stability is based on a constant velocity model which minimises the net movement amongst a set of datum benchmarks surveyed since the installation of the tide gauges. When assessed at a 95% confidence interval, and with the exception of the Solomon Islands, none of the tide gauges were found to be in motion relative to their CGPS benchmarks. The Solomon Islands estimate is considered to be unreliable since the CGPS benchmark was recently established and has been surveyed fewer than three times. In Tonga and Cook Islands, the tide gauges were found to be disturbed or affected by survey errors whereas the Vanuatu results were affected by earthquakes. [Termes IGN] triangulation de DelaunayRésumé : (Auteur) This paper introduces a new method for bluffline extraction based on analysis of surface normal vectors derived from a 2.5-dimensional Delaunay triangulation network generated using a set of LiDAR points. The developed method has been implemented and tested for the extraction of blufflines in a section of the Lake Erie coastline near Painesville, Ohio. Comparison of the research results with those generated by a method for bluffline extraction based on slope information along elevation profiles on transects shows an improvement in both horizontal and vertical accuracies in situations where the bluff has a relatively sharp edge formation. [Termes IGN] volume (grandeur)Résumé : (Auteur) Different oil spill pollution types could be produced in oil transport and weathering processes. Investigation of these pollution types is beneficial for oil spill recovery and processing. Optical remote sensing techniques play an important role in marine oil spill monitoring and have the ability to identify different oil spill pollution types. Recently, research on oil spill optical remote sensing has made much progress in detecting targets, identifying spectral response characteristics, and formulating theories. Floating black oil, oil slicks, and oil-water mixture in marine oil spill accidents are the main targets to be investigated by optical remote sensors. The visible spectral response differences of these targets are the base of oil spill optical remote sensing research. Bi-directional reflectance distribution function, light interference, absorption, and scattering of targets produce different spectra. Therefore, oil spill optical remote sensing could be used to identify the main oil spill pollution types and estimate oil spill volume.
