The 1’×1’ mean Faye anomalies, deflections of the vertical for the territory of Poland, gravity anomalies from the neighbouring countries and the EGM2008 were used as input data. The remove-compute-restore (RCR) method and the least squares collocation approach with the planar logarithmic covariance function of gravity anomalies were applied. Height anomalies computed from the GDQM-PL13 have been compared with the corresponding ones obtained from GNSS/levelling data at the stations of the POLREF, EUVN and ASG-EUPOS networks and the precise GNSS/levelling control traverse. The new quasigeoid model was also compared with the gravimetric quasigeoid model GDQ08 developed in 2008 for the area of Poland, with the EGM2008, and with the most recent global geopotential model based on GOCE data. The results of the comparison were analysed and the accuracy of the GDQM-PL13 has been assessed and discussed. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (Auteur) Many large-scale GNSS CORS networks have been deployed around the world to support various commercial and scientific applications. To make use of these networks for real-time kinematic positioning services, one of the major challenges is the ambiguity resolution (AR) over long inter-station baselines in the presence of considerable atmosphere biases. Usually, the widelane ambiguities are fixed first, followed by the procedure of determination of the narrowlane ambiguity integers based on the ionosphere-free model in which the widelane integers are introduced as known quantities. This paper seeks to improve the AR performance over long baseline through efficient procedures for improved float solutions and ambiguity fixing. The contribution is threefold: (1) instead of using the ionosphere-free measurements, the absolute and/or relative ionospheric constraints are introduced in the ionosphere-constrained model to enhance the model strength, thus resulting in the better float solutions; (2) the realistic widelane ambiguity precision is estimated by capturing the multipath effects due to the observation complexity, leading to improvement of reliability of widelane AR; (3) for the narrowlane AR, the partial AR for a subset of ambiguities selected according to the successively increased elevation is applied. For fixing the scalar ambiguity, an error probability controllable rounding method is proposed. The established ionosphere-constrained model can be efficiently solved based on the sequential Kalman filter. It can be either reduced to some special models simply by adjusting the variances of ionospheric constraints, or extended with more parameters and constraints. The presented methodology is tested over seven baselines of around 100 km from USA CORS network. The results show that the new widelane AR scheme can obtain the 99.4 % successful fixing rate with 0.6 % failure rate; while the new rounding method of narrowlane AR can obtain the fix rate of 89 % with failure rate of 0.8 %. In summary, the AR reliability can be efficiently improved with rigorous controllable probability of incorrectly fixed ambiguities. Long time series of integrated precipitable water (IPW) averaged hourly, daily and monthly can serve as climate indicators. As IPW is mostly influenced by global circulation, not surface processes, correlations of IPW with basic meteorological surface parameters have been analysed. Even more revealing are changes in correlation coefficients calculated for monthly periods for different regions. Simple charts of IPW/temperature which can be treated as climatologic diagrams were investigated. Some of these charts have been analysed with some climatologic insight. This form of presenting IPW statistics reveals the variability of seasonal IPW values. IPW clearly represents the diversity of world climates and is a valuable meteorological and climatologic parameter. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSIndex. décimale : 30.61 Systèmes de Positionnement par Satellites du GNSS Résumé : (auteur) Global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) are an essential component in many areas of our daily life. They find application in diverse fields of private, commercial and scientific activities and are employed to meet the needs of police and military. Their fundamental importance for industrial countries is not the least the triggering point for the continuing modernisation of the existing and the development of new systems. The global satellite navigation systems are supplemented by regional satellite navigation systems (RNSS) and satellite based augmentation systems (SBAS). The diversity of systems, applied signal modulations and carrier frequencies, in particular in their combination, provide a broad range of opportunities along with new challenges.
The work presented herein focuses on the use of satellite navigation systems for precise positioning and timing applications and scientific analysis. For best and comprehensive results, an equivalent combination of all available systems and signals is a fundamental requirement. For these reasons, relative approaches based on observation differences are rather inappropriate. Hence, this thesis focuses primarily on the method of precise point positioning (PPP) by waiving linear combinations. The objective is the development of a universal PPP analysis approach for standalone PPP and network solutions. Raw observations conserve the physical properties of original observation. This allows a detailed analysis of individual signal characteristics, but leads to the necessity of handling them. The utilisation of raw observations comes along with maximum flexibility. It allows for the application of physical error models as well as individual weighting and edition of all individual observation types. The possibility of a joint processing of all observations and the estimation of all parameters in a single run results in a significant simplification of the processing procedure.
The first part of the thesis provides a general introduction to conventional GNSS analysis and highlights the limitations thereof. The second part introduces the technique of raw observations processing. It highlights the differences from the common ionosphere free processing approach and discusses the challenges. The concept presented for the analysis of GNSS raw observations is flexible and adjustable to any kind of GNSS application. This flexibility is attributed to a variety of different possible interpretations of the raw observation equation. In the frame of this thesis, a selection of different interpretations is introduced and demonstrated. One of the most important parameters for the analysis of raw observations is the so-called uncalibrated signal delays. The work presented exemplarily demonstrates their characteristics and discusses their implications for the analysis.
For maximum stability of the results, it is common practice to resolve and apply integer carrier phase ambiguities. The presented work discusses and demonstrates the feasibility of this methodology for the implemented approach. It shows that the new approach simplifies the resolution of inter-GNSS carrier phase ambiguities and extends the spectrum of resolvable ambiguities.
It is demonstrated that the proposed concept provides an “at least” equivalent alternative to the common processing strategies, applicable for highly precise standalone, as well as network PPP solutions, allowing for the simplified, consistent processing of different numbers of observation, suitable for an optimal, flexible, equivalent, joint processing of arbitrary GNSS observation types. It introduces a new dimension of analysis, with direct access to all individual observations and parameters.Note de contenu : 1 Introduction
