[Termes IGN] valeur aberranteRésumé : (Auteur) For airborne surveys, the GPS/INS system has become the primary source for aerial image georeferencing. However, alternative automated georeferencing is required to serve as a backup for georeferencing when GPS/iNS-based georeferencing is not feasible. High-resolution satellite images (HRSl) have been globally available with better spatial resolution and increasing positional accuracy. Therefore, hrsi has high potential as a ground control source for aerial image georeferencing which usually requires accurate 3D ground control points. Unfortunately, single imagery, which is often used as a reference, contains relief displacement due to objects on the ground introducing positional errors, unless it is not true orthorectified which is costly and time consuming. Therefore, in this study, a stereo HRSI-based automated georeferencing approach is proposed. The use of stereo images can avoid the impact of relief displacement and requires no external height information. The proposed method is based on a multi-scale image matching approach utilizing a combination of SIFT (Scale-Invariant Feature Transform) and ransac (RANdom SAmple Consensus). In the georeferencing step, the bundle adjustment with outlier removal of Baarda's data snooping was utilized. Experimental results for a strip of aerial images with stereo Ikonos images showed its potential as a backup system for automated georeferencing. [Termes IGN] Ultra Léger MotoriséRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents a method to integrate linear horizontal, vertical and right-angled scene structures into the bundle adjustment of image sequences. An increasing number of airborne image acquisition systems is available and equipped with non-metric small- or medium-frame cameras and no or insufficiently accurate INS devices. In cases where the data is to be used for the production of geo-spatial data, where a certain accuracy and precision is required, an indirect sensor orientation, possibly including self-calibration, needs to be performed. The idea which led to the presented approach is to reduce the number of GCPs necessary for this task by applying the mentioned scene structures. The method directly uses the linear structures, visible at man-made objects as fictive observations within the adjustment, while self-calibration of intrinsic camera parameters and lens distortion is included as well. Experiments with two datasets demonstrate that, through this method, only limited GCP information is required to obtain satisfactory results. In fact, in one experiment using oblique images, several scene constraints were provided and only the datum was defined by ground control. The residuals at check points from this setup were similar to the traditional case where several well-distributed GCPs were available in the scene. In the second experiment the ability of this approach to support the bundle adjustment was shown for a UAV dataset. Although no GCP and camera calibration information was available, the visual inspection of adjusted object points and the residuals at horizontal structures confirmed the ability of the method to align an image block with the structure, as embodied in the defined scene constraints. Despite the convincing outcome of the experiments, it needs to be mentioned that some manual work is still involved in defining the constraints. In future work the issue of automation will be addressed. [Termes IGN] positionnement par GPSRésumé : (Auteur) Photogrammetric and lidar data-sets have been used together in mapping procedures because of their complementary characteristics. However, to perform this integration both data-sets must be within a common reference frame. Although all lidar systems include a direct georeferencing procedure, the majority of low-cost photogrammetric systems do not have a facility for direct georeferencing of images even if the data-sets are captured simultaneously. In recent years, the high accuracy of the lidar data has enabled it to provide a source of photogrammetric control and thus to offer indirect georeferencing. This paper presents a methodology for the indirect georeferencing of digital SLR images using signalised lidar control points, together with the results obtained. The intensity image and raw lidar data-set were used to extract 3D coordinates of signalised control points. Two bundle adjustments of 21 images were performed. In the first case the coordinates of the control points were obtained by using GPS survey. In the second, they were extracted from a lidar data-set. The results obtained from these experiments confirm the feasibility of the proposed methodology Numéro de notice : A2011-078 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : IMAGERIE Nature : Article DOI : 10.1111/j.1477-9730.2011.00621.x Date de publication en ligne : 16/03/2011 En ligne : https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1477-9730.2011.00621.x Format de la ressource électronique : URL article Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=30859
