[Termes IGN] réseau sémantiqueRésumé : (auteur) Knowledge graphs (KGs) represent entities and relations as computable networks, which is of great value for discovering hidden knowledge and patterns. Geographic KGs mainly describe static facts and have difficulty representing changes, greatly limiting their application in geographic spatiotemporal processes. By analyzing the spatiotemporal features and evolution of geographic elements, this study presents the geographic evolutionary knowledge graph (GEKG). Its representation model has five core elements: time, geographic event (geo-event), geographic entity (geo-entity), activity and property, and defines six relations: logical, semantic, evolutionary and temporal relation, participation and inclusion. It establishes a hierarchical cubical model structure and each temporal layer extends vertically and horizontally starting with the earliest geo-event. Vertical expansion refers to the connection between different kinds of element, such as the participation relation between geo-entities and geo-events. Horizontal expansion indicates the association between the same kinds of element, such as the semantic relation between geo-entities. For different layers, the spatiotemporal differences of elements produce the evolutionary relation. Finally, the comparison of GEKG with Yet Another Great Ontology (YAGO) and Geographic Knowledge Graph (GeoKG) shows that GEKG has more advantages in representing geographic evolutionary knowledge, revealing the evolution mechanism of geographic elements and the evolutionary reasons. [Termes IGN] tripletRésumé : (auteur) When predicting data for which limited supervised information is available, hyperspectral target detection methods based on deep transfer learning expect that the network will not require considerable retraining to generalize to unfamiliar application contexts. Meta-learning is an effective and practical framework for solving this problem in deep learning. This article proposes a new meta-learning based hyperspectral target detection using Siamese network (MLSN). First, a deep residual convolution feature embedding module is designed to embed spectral vectors into the Euclidean feature space. Then, the triplet loss is used to learn the intraclass similarity and interclass dissimilarity between spectra in embedding feature space by using the known labeled source data on the designed three-channel Siamese network for meta-training. The learned meta-knowledge is updated with the prior target spectrum through a designed two-channel Siamese network to quickly adapt to the new detection task. It should be noted that the parameters and structure of the deep residual convolution embedding modules of each channel in the Siamese network are identical. Finally, the spatial information is combined, and the detection map of the two-channel Siamese network is processed by the guiding image filtering and morphological closing operation, and a final detection result is obtained. Based on the experimental analysis of six real hyperspectral image datasets, the proposed MLSN has shown its excellent comprehensive performance. [Termes IGN] Wuhan (Chine)Résumé : (auteur) The road map is a fundamental part of a spatial data infrastructure (SDI), and is widely applied in navigation, smart transportation, and mobile location services. Recently, with the ubiquity of positioning devices, crowdsourced trajectories have become a significant data resource for road map construction and updating. However, existing trajectory-based methods mainly place emphasis on extracting road geometry features and may ignore continuous updating of road semantic information. Hence, we propose a divide-and-conquer method to construct a spatial-semantic road map by incorporating multiple data sources (e.g., crowdsourced trajectories and geo-tagged data). The proposed method divides road map construction into two sub-tasks, road structure reconstruction and road attributes inference. The road structure reconstruction process starts to partition raw trajectory data into different cliques of roadways and road intersections, and then extracts various targeted road structures by analyzing the turning modes in different trajectory cliques. The road attributes inference process aims to infer three pieces of crucial semantic information about road speeds, turning rules, and road names from crowdsourced trajectories and geo-tagged data. The case studies in Wuhan were examined to illustrate that the proposed method can construct a routable road map with enhanced geometric structures and rich semantic information, providing a beneficial data solution for car navigation and SDI update. [Vedettes matières IGN] Végétation et changement climatiqueRésumé : (auteur) It is expected that European Boreal and Temperate forests will be greatly affected by climate change, causing natural disturbances to increase in frequency and severity. To detangle how, through forest management, we can make forests less vulnerable to the impact of natural disturbances, we need to include the risks of such disturbances in our decision-making tools. The present review investigates: i) how the most important forestry-related natural disturbances are linked to climate change, and ii) different modelling approaches that assess the risks of natural disturbances and their applicability for large-scale forest management planning. Global warming will decrease frozen soil periods, which increases root rot, snow, ice and wind damage, cascading into an increment of bark beetle damage. Central Europe will experience a decrease in precipitation and increase in temperature, which lowers tree defenses against bark beetles and increases root rot infestations. Ice and wet snow damages are expected to increase in Northern Boreal forests, and to reduce in Temperate and Southern Boreal forests. However, lack of snow cover may increase cases of frost-damaged seedlings. The increased temperatures and drought periods, together with a fuel increment from other disturbances, likely enhance wildfire risk, especially for Temperate forests. For the review of European modelling approaches, thirty-nine disturbance models were assessed and categorized according to their required input variables and to the models’ outputs. Probability models are usually common for all disturbance model approaches, however, models that predict disturbance effects seem to be scarce. [Termes IGN] temps de convergenceRésumé : (auteur) Applications of precise point positioning (PPP) are limited by PPP’s long convergence time. One effective way to shorten the convergence time is to apply ionospheric constraints because of the external ionospheric information. The conventional way to do this is to apply high precision but biased ionospheric corrections. The limitations of the method are that all ionospheric constraints must be derived from the same set of reference stations to have the same data. An approach based on single differences between satellite ionospheric constraints (SDBS-IONO) is developed to address the data issue due to having no common satellite visibility. The proposed method is more flexible and scalable in terms of adding ionospheric constraints. Based on a network of about 130 stations, we validated the proposed SDBS-ION method and compared it to the conventional method. Our results confirm that the ionospheric constraints enhance the PPP convergence time significantly depending on the accuracy of ionospheric constraints. Finally, we discuss crucial factors regarding how long and accurate the effectiveness of ionospheric constraints are in reducing PPP convergence time.
