[Termes IGN] point d'appuiRésumé : (auteur) Long-term observations of the Antarctic ice sheet will contribute to a quantitative evaluation and precise prediction of the sea level change induced by global changes in climate. This paper proposes an improved rigorous geometric modeling method for the declassified KH-5 ARGON satellite images collected in Antarctica in 1960s. The scanned film images are preprocessed beforehand to enhance the quality for further analysis. Systematic errors such as lens distortion and atmospheric refraction are also considered and corrected. A scheme is proposed to measure the ground control points for the historical images based on modern image mosaic and DEM products. The bundle adjustment results of four blocks in regions in East Antarctica present a geometric positioning accuracy of less than one nominal pixel resolution (140 m) in both horizontal and vertical directions, outperforming the published results. A regional DEM of the ice sheet that represents the topography in 1963 is then generated from the stereo ARGON images for the first time, the evaluation of which shows its consistency with the modern product but with great value for studying the recent change history of the ice sheet. [Termes IGN] image hyperspectraleRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents an interactive feedback scheme of spatial resolution enhancement and spectral unmixing in hyperspectral imaging. Traditionally spatial resolution enhancement and spectral unmixing operations have been carried out separately, often in series. In such sequential processing, spatially enhanced hyperspectral images (HSIs) may introduce distortion in spectral fidelity making spectral unmixing results unreliable, or vice versa. Since both high- and low-resolution HSIs have the same endmembers, the deviation in spectral unmixing between targets and estimated high-resolution HSIs can be used as feedback to control spatial resolution enhancement. The spatial difference before and after unmixing can also be used as feedback to enhance spectral unmixing. Therefore, spectral unmixing is utilized as a constraint to spatial resolution enhancement, while spatial resolution enhancement helps improve spectral unmixing results. The performance of spatial resolution enhancement and spectral unmixing can be improved since one behaves like a prior to the other. Experimental results on both simulated and real HSI data sets demonstrate that the proposed interactive feedback scheme simultaneously achieved spatial resolution enhancement and spectral unmixing fidelity. This paper is an extended version of the previous work. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) Based on the polarization difference between the multipath and the line-of-sight (LOS) signal, a method for multipath detection using a single antenna is proposed. The antenna has two channels to receive two orthogonal linear polarized components of the multipath and LOS signal, respectively. A hypothetical model of the antenna is employed such that the antenna patterns of the channels are assumed identical regarding amplitude and phase and are independent of azimuth. The antenna gain in the direction below the local horizon is assumed to be larger than in the direction toward LOS signals. Parallel cross-cancellation is used to remove the LOS signal from the received signals based on the magnitude and phase difference between the two orthogonal components. Then the residual signals are processed by a conventional digital processor of global navigation satellite system. The multipath can be detected by parallel cross-cancellation in the receiver in real time. The proposed method makes use of the polarization and spatial information of the multipath and LOS signal, and can detect short-delay multipath. [Termes IGN] station GNSSRésumé : (auteur) In GNSS data processing, the station height, receiver clock and tropospheric delay (ZTD) are highly correlated to each other. Although the zenith hydrostatic delay of the troposphere can be provided with sufficient accuracy, zenith wet delay (ZWD) has to be estimated, which is usually done in a random walk process. Since ZWD temporal variation depends on the water vapor content in the atmosphere, it seems to be reasonable that ZWD constraints in GNSS processing should be geographically and/or time dependent. We propose to take benefit from numerical weather prediction models to define optimum random walk process noise. In the first approach, we used archived VMF1-G data to calculate a grid of yearly and monthly means of the difference of ZWD between two consecutive epochs divided by the root square of the time lapsed, which can be considered as a random walk process noise. Alternatively, we used the Global Forecast System model from National Centres for Environmental Prediction to calculate random walk process noise dynamically in real-time. We performed two representative experimental campaigns with 20 globally distributed International GNSS Service (IGS) stations and compared real-time ZTD estimates with the official ZTD product from the IGS. With both our approaches, we obtained an improvement of up to 10% in accuracy of the ZTD estimates compared to any uniformly fixed random walk process noise applied for all stations.
