[Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (auteur) The spatially heterogeneous nature and geographical scale of surface urban heat island (SUHI) driving mechanisms remain largely unknown, as most previous studies have focused solely on their global performance and impact strength. This paper analyzes diurnal and nocturnal SUHIs in China based on the multiscale geographically weighted regression (MGWR) model for 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2018. Compared to results obtained using the ordinary least square (OLS) model, the MGWR model has a lower corrected Akaike information criterion value and significantly improves the model’s coefficient of determination (OLS: 0.087–0.666, MGWR: 0.616–0.894). The normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and nighttime light (NTL) are the most critical drivers of daytime and nighttime SUHIs, respectively. In terms of model bandwidth, population and Δfine particulate matter are typically global variables, while ΔNDVI, intercept (i.e., spatial context), and NTL are local variables. The nighttime coefficient of ΔNDVI is significantly negative in the more economically developed southern coastal region, while it is significantly positive in northwestern China. Our study not only improves the understanding of the complex drivers of SUHIs from a multiscale perspective but also provides a basis for urban heat island mitigation by more precisely identifying the heterogeneity of drivers. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) In this manuscript, we introduce the Ionospheric Tomographic Common Clock (ITCC) model of undifferenced uncombined GNSS measurements. It is intended for improving the Wide Area precise positioning in a consistent and simple way in the multi-GNSS context, and without the need of external precise real-time products. This is the case, in particular, of the satellite clocks, which are estimated at the Wide Area GNSS network Central Processing Facility (CPF) referred to the reference receiver one; and the precise realtime ionospheric corrections, simultaneously computed under a voxel-based tomographic model with satellite clocks and other geodetic unknowns, from the uncombined and undifferenced pseudoranges and carrier phase measurements at the CPF from the Wide Area GNSS network area. The model, without fixing the carrier phase ambiguities for the time being (just constraining them by the simultaneous solution of both ionospheric and geometric components of the uncombined GNSS model), has been successfully applied and assessed against previous precise positioning techniques. This has been done by emulating real-time conditions for Wide Area GPS users during 2018 in Poland. [Termes IGN] subsidenceRésumé : (auteur) Beijing’s Sub-Administrative Center (BSAC) is located in the South-eastern Beijing Plain, which exhibits severe subsidence. The rapid urban expansion in recent years has aggravated land subsidence and threatens the safe operation of Beijing. First, this study applied the persistent scatterer-interferometric synthetic aperture radar (PS-InSAR) to extract BSAC subsidence time series data. Second, combined with the index-based built-up index (IBI), expansion intensity index (EII), and expansion gradient index (EGI), the spatiotemporal characteristics of urban expansion were retrieved from optical data. Finally, we examined the urban expansion effects on land subsidence at the regional and single-building scales. The results showed that the maximum subsidence velocity in the BSAC reached 121 mm/year from 2015 to 2018, and the urban construction land area increased by 22%. At the regional scale, there existed a positive correlation between land subsidence and EGI or EII. This indicated that urban expansion had a certain impact on land subsidence. Therefore, we further explored the relationship between construction and land subsidence at the single-building scale. The engineering construction effects on land subsidence were divided into three periods, namely, rapid settlement, rebound, and stable periods. Although construction had a significant influence on land subsidence, it did not cause subsidence mutation. [Termes IGN] télémétrie laser aéroportéRésumé : (Auteur) Due to its high ranging accuracy, spaceborne laser altimetry technology can improve the accuracy of satellite stereo mapping without ground control points. In the past, full-waveform ICE, CLOUD, and Land Elevation Satellite (ICESat) laser altimeter data have been used as one of the main data sources for global elevation control. As a second-generation satellite, ICESat-2 is equipped with an altimeter using photon counting mode. This can further improve the application capability for stereo mapping because of the six laser beams with high along-track repetition frequency, which can provide more detailed ground contour descriptions. Previous studies have addressed how to extract high-accuracy elevation control points from ICESat data. However, these methods cannot be directly applied to ICESat-2 data because of the different modes of the laser altimeters. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method using comprehensive evaluation labels that can extract high-accuracy elevation control points that meet the different level elevation accuracy requirements for large scale mapping from the ICESat-2 land-vegetation along-track product. The method was verified using two airborne lidar data sets. In flat, hilly, and mountainous areas, by using our method to extract the terrain elevation, the root-mean-square error of elevation control points decrease from 1.249–2.094 m, 2.237–3.225 m, and 2.791–4.822 m to 0.262–0.429 m, 0.484–0.596 m, and 0.611–1.003 m, respectively. The results show that the extraction elevations meet the required accuracy for large scale mapping. [Termes IGN] régression géographiquement pondéréeRésumé : (auteur) Geographically and temporally weighted regression (GTWR) has been demonstrated as an effective tool for exploring spatiotemporal data under spatial and temporal heterogeneity. Exploiting the advantages of the two most popular GTWR methods, we propose an alternative GTWR with a good balance between complexity and interpretability via a unilateral temporal weighting scheme called unilateral GTWR (UGTWR). When compared to the other two popular GTWR methods, the simulation experiment shows that UGTWR has comparable estimation accuracy and model fit, but it is more efficient. Furthermore, we propose its multiscale extension, coined multiscale UGTWR (MUGTWR), to characterize the spatiotemporal dynamic regression relationships at multiple scales. The proposed MUGTWR was applied to the analysis of house prices in the period of 2014–2018 in Beijing as a case study. Our analysis reveals that MUGTWR can effectively capture different levels of spatiotemporal heterogeneity in selected factors affecting house prices at different scales. Therefore, this study is useful for the formulation of housing policy in which the spatiotemporal dynamics of house prices with respect to specific factors can be considered.
