[Termes IGN] villeRésumé : (Auteur) Atmospheric pollution becomes a critical factor of anticipated deaths, which concerns ambient air quality as well as air quality in houses and places of work. For the well being of human and for the population information, we need to evaluate the actual exposure of persons to ambient pollution. One way to perform it is to evaluate the space time budget of air pollution exposition. Hence an information on the spatial distribution of pollutant concentrations is required. Several tools exist ; most of them provide maps of pollutant concentrations but over a regional scale with a grid of 1 km, which is insufficient. Measuring stations scarcely distributed in the city, provide a complete surveillance but their costs limit the knowledge of pollutant concentration to specific points of the city. To overcome this problem, several notions are defined : "identity card of a measuring station", "pseudostation" and "virtual station". Based on a multi-sources approach, this paper presents a methodology using remotely sensed data for the mapping of pollutant concentrations over a city. [Termes IGN] séismeRésumé : (Auteur) The area of Dinaric Alps (Dinarides) has been analysed on Landsat TM images. Many of the faults have been registered and categorised into three classes: 1st > 50 km in length, 2nd 10 - 50 km and 3rd < 10 km. The majority of the determined faults are from the neotectonic age and they have special significance for seismotectonic activities. The region mentioned has been geophysically researched (deep geoelectric, geomagnetic, gravity), too. Based on both kinds of data, the tectonic complex of the investigated area has been interpreted. The epicentres of stronger earthquakes occurring and registered during the last two centuries have been drawn into the tectonic map. The epicentres of the earthquakes appeared mostly in the tectonically active zones, so it was possible to separate the potential, seismic areas. [Termes IGN] orthoimageRésumé : (Auteur) Sponsored under NASA's Scientific Data Buy program, the GeoCoverOrtho program has created a geodefically accurate digital database of Landsat TM and MSS multispectral Imagery covering the earth's landmass. The GeoCoverOrtho coverage is comprised of over 14,000 Landsat images that have been photogrammetrically adjusted and digitally orthorectified to create a seamless global coverage of multispectral digital imagery with a 50 meter (RMSE) geodetic positional accuracy. The Landsat source images have been hand picked from the Landsat archives of both the EROS Data Center and the international Landsat foreign ground receiving stations, and represent the highest image quality and lowest cloud cover available. GeoCoverOrtho products provide readily available, easily affordable, and consistently accurate Landsat TM and MSS multispectral imagery which provide an excellent digital source for multispectral image processing and analysis, as well as a geodetically accurate logistical base map.
