[Termes IGN] SyrieRésumé : (Auteur) This research aimed at studying the spectral reflectance intensity of different exposed volcanic rocks in Syria, and drawing their curves by radiometer measurements. In order to reach this goal, we have studied different kinds of volcanic rocks related to different ages, from the Jurassic until the recent Quaternary, and composed of fresh and altered basalt, phonolite and volcanic tuff. We measured the reflected rays of the volcanic rocks by using radiometers equipped with filters for the multi-spectral scanners (TM, MSS and SPOT), and the recorded information was treated according to the equation Reflectance = (Radiance + Dark current) Calibration factor / (Irradiance+ Dark current) Calibration factor. Furthermore, through this equation, we made a calculation for the reflectance intensity of each kind of measured rocks with different channels. We then showed the results of our measurements graphically. After that, we represented the average of the reflectance intensity curves for the various kinds of rocks, and for each kind of the mentioned scanners. We also determined the relative values of reflection in the different spectral channels to cancel the effect of the shadow, and to obtain the best information to help in designing and developing remote sensing survey equipment to recognize the mentioned rocks accurately. [Termes IGN] urbanisationRésumé : (Auteur) The landscape pattern of Daqing City, China, has undergone a significant change over the past 20 years, as a result of the rapid urbanization process. To understand how urbanization has influenced the landscape in Daqing City, the largest base of the petrochemical industry in China, we conducted a series of spatial analyses with landscape pattern maps obtained from Landsat images in 1979, 1990 and 2000. Results indicate that a substantial urban area has been extended during the past two decades, along with the shrinking of wetland and woodland. Spatio-temporal optimization is not a trivial task in developing landscape models. In previous studies, the optimization of spatial and temporal factors was achieved separately, because of the difficulty in formulating them together in a single model. In this study, we adapted the traditional Markov model by obtaining model parameters and neighbourhood rules from a modified genetic algorithm (GA). Model performance was evaluated between the empirical landscape map from the Landsat image and the simulated landscape map from the models. Over three simulation runs, the global deviation (GD) for the three models was 1.37, 1.10 and 1.15, respectively. This result shows that the Markov model and the GA together are able to effectively capture the spatio-temporal trend in the landscape pattern associated with urbanization for this region. The future landscape distribution in 2010, 2030 and 2050 was derived using a spatial Markov model (SMM) for further urban change and planning research. [Termes IGN] télémétrie laser terrestreRésumé : (Auteur) A terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) allows the generation of a detailed model of a landslide surface. In this way, when two or more georeferenced models obtained by multi-temporal scans are available, the landslide displacement field can be computed. Nevertheless, such a computation is a relatively complex task because the recognition of correspondences among the multi-temporal models is required. The Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm allows the alignment of two 3D objects having a common part by iterative shape matching. A new method for the automatic calculation of a landslide displacement field is presented here. It is based on a piecewise application of the ICP algorithm and is made possible by the robustness of this algorithm against noise and small morphological modifications. After a series of numerical experimentations, this method was successfully applied to two test sites located in the North-Eastern Italian Alps affected by high-risk landslides of the slump type (Perarolo di Cadore and Lamosano) with very different observational conditions. [Termes IGN] orthophotoplan numériqueRésumé : (Auteur) A software program has been developed to generate true orthophotographs using multispectral and lidar data. To accomplish this, the obscured points were first identified in the acquired conventional orthophotographs. Next, the obscured points were replaced with corresponding unobscured points from the neighbouring orthophotographs. Finally, the resulting orthophotographs were merged into a mosaic. This paper provides insight into the generation procedure, developed methods and results obtained in the course of the creation of the digital true orthophotograph.
