[Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) This paper has studied the key issues about integration of GNSS and strong-motion records for real-time earthquake monitoring. The validations show that the consistence of the coordinate system must be considered firstly to exclude the system bias between GNSS and strong-motion. The GNSS sampling rate is suggested about 1–5 Hz, and we should give the strong-motion’s baseline shift with a larger dynamic noise as its variation is very swift. The initialization time of solving the baseline shift is less than one minute, and ambiguity resolution strategy is not greatly improved the solution. The data quality is very important for the solution, we advised to use multi-frequency and multi-system observations. These ideas give an important guide for real-time earthquake monitoring and early warning by the tight integration of GNSS and strong-motion records. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) In this paper, the stochastic characteristics of Global Positioning System (GPS) pseudo-range noise as influenced by several factors such as receiver type, frequency, and ionosphere environment are analysed. The results indicate that the noise level of GPS observations is significantly affected by these factors. Moreover, the noise level is so mutable that it cannot be generalised and described by a uniform empirical model. Even for the same satellite, the noise level of observations may fluctuate sharply in both spatial and temporal resolution. To establish a reasonable stochastic model, a recursive sliding window method for estimating pseudo-range noise in real time is introduced. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by specific computational examples. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) Considering the remarkable shift that the digitalisation is nowadays bringing about in the building sector, the paper focuses on how the great amount of data collected around assets is changing the way buildings are operated, particularly for what concerns innovation on products, processes and technologies. By establishing a connection between as-designed virtual models and as-delivered physical assets, the paper presents methods and tools based on information management and developed for assessing building behaviours in operation and for defining control strategies for satisfying user needs. The research aims to investigate how the building process could benefit from the availability of multi-faceted information collected in real time (e.g. through sensors) during the operational stages of buildings. Digitally-enabled practices and technologies have been developed and tested for improving a data-driven asset management, by enriching Building Information Models through data gathered through Building Management Systems, according to the Industry Foundation Classes schema. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (Auteur) Until recently, the real-time IGS precise orbit and clock corrections were only available for the predicted part of the ultra-rapid solution. Whereas the accuracy of the ultra-rapid orbit is about 5 cm, the root mean square (RMS) of the respective satellite clock corrections is, unfortunately, about 3 ns (0.9 m). Hence, high accuracy Precise Point Positioning (PPP) applications can be achieved only in post-processing rather than in realtime. With the availability of the IGS real-time service (RTS), it becomes possible to obtain precise satellite orbit and satellite clock corrections in realtime with accuracy better than those of the ultra-rapid products. Recent research has shown that GPS IGS RTS products availability is at least 95 %, which makes it possible to perform real-time PPP with high accuracy. We study the performance of IGS RTS products in PPP by introducing a detailed description and analysis of IGS RTS products, describing the broadcasting of the IGS RTS orbit and clock corrections and their implementation as corrections to the broadcast ephemerides, and analyzing IGS RTS in PPP using several, randomly selected globally distributed IGS stations. It is shown that using IGS RTS products in real-time PPP can improve the solution RMS by about 50 % compared with the solution obtained from the predicted part of the IGS ultra-rapid products. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) The Nova Scotia Coordinate Referencing System (NSCRS) is Nova Scotia’s current framework for providing location-based information. The NSCRS is the foundation for the province’s geographic data, including the land administration system. In 2012, the province began developing a modernization strategy to better execute its coordinate referencing program to address ongoing accuracy and accessibility needs. A network of active control stations (ACSs) tracking global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) is at the core of the new strategy. In addition to providing better accuracy and accessibility to the NSCRS, the technology has created new opportunities to sustain its passive control infrastructure. In 2015, the installation of 40 ACSs across the province was completed, providing industry with access to real-time, centimetre-level positioning. Over the course of the NSCRS modernization project, several technical considerations needed to be addressed pertaining to the design of the network, location of the ACSs, flow of the ACS data and the crowd sourcing of GNSS observation data to maintain the passive control system. These technical considerations are reviewed and the solutions implemented to address the needs of this initiative are presented.
