[Termes IGN] tunnelRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents a method of optimization of the underground network for the construction of the Belgrade metro. In the process of optimization, the method of preanalysis was used. The theoretical basis of the mathematical model of the preanalysis is given, which is based on Gauß-Markov model of geodetic networks adjustment, as well as the theoretical basis for calculating the tunnel breakthrough precision. Based on the construction standards, the calculation of the required breakthrough precision was made, as the fundamental criterion of precision for the development of the underground tunnel network. Depending on the technical parameters of the Belgrade Metro Line 1 alignment, related to the position of the axis and the longitudinal profile of the tunnel, the design of the underground tunnel network was defined. In the process of optimization, different plans of observations were analyzed, as well as the results obtained from the preanalysis for each plan individually. Based on the set criterion of maximum transverse error of the tunnel breakthrough, which is 4.5 cm,the third plan of observations was adopted as the final plan,by which the breakthrough error of 3.5 cm was achieved. The adopted plan of observations includes planned measurements of horizontal directions, azimuths, and distances, with the assumed standard deviation of 1" for horizontal directions,3.2 " for azimuths, and (1 mm; 1 ppm) for distances. In particular, the paper examines the case where each route is represented by a separate colored linear symbol offset from the physical network segments and from other routes—as on public transit maps with bus routes offset from roads. In this study, the objective is to automate the placement of such route symbols while maximizing their legibility, especially at junctions. The problem is modeled as a constraint optimization problem. Legibility criteria are identified and formalized as constraints to optimize, while focusing on the case of hiking routes in a physical network composed of roads and pedestrian paths. Two solving methods are tested, based on backtracking and simulated annealing meta-heuristics respectively. Encouraging results obtained on real data are presented and discussed. [Termes IGN] théorie de Dempster-ShaferMots-clés libres : Occupancy grids Point-to-triangle distance Résumé : (auteur) Mobile laser scanning (MLS) has become a popular technique for road inventory, building modelling, infrastructure management, mobility assessment, etc. Meanwhile, due to the high mobility of MLS systems, it is easy to revisit interested areas. However, change detection using MLS data of street environment has seldom been studied. In this paper, an approach that combines occupancy grids and a distance-based method for change detection from MLS point clouds is proposed. Unlike conventional occupancy grids, our occupancy-based method models space based on scanning rays and local point distributions in 3D without voxelization. A local cylindrical reference frame is presented for the interpolation of occupancy between rays according to the scanning geometry. The Dempster–Shafer theory (DST) is utilized for both intra-data evidence fusion and inter-data consistency assessment. Occupancy of reference point cloud is fused at the location of target points and then the consistency is evaluated directly on the points. A point-to-triangle (PTT) distance-based method is combined to improve the occupancy-based method. Because it is robust to penetrable objects, e.g. vegetation, which cause self-conflicts when modelling occupancy. The combined method tackles irregular point density and occlusion problems, also eliminates false detections on penetrable objects. [Termes IGN] routeRésumé : (auteur) This paper proposes a pipeline to produce road orthophoto and DTM from Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS). For the ortho, modern laser scanners provide a reflectance information allowing for high quality grayscale images, at a much finer resolution than aerial photography can offer. For DTM, MLS offers a much higher accuracy and density than aerial products. This increased precision and resolution leverages new applications for both ortho and DEM. The first task is to filter ground vs non ground, then an interpolation is conducted to build image tiles from the filtered points. Finally, multiple layers are registered and blended to allow for seamless fusion. Our proposed approach achieves high quality products and scaling up is demonstrated.
