Way Satellite Time and Frequency Transfer TWSTFT). La méthode PPP permet une précision au niveau de la nano-seconde, sans avoir recours au réseau des stations. [Termes IGN] station de terrain mobileRésumé : (Auteur) In the previous article on Practical satellite naviation, installing the base was discussed. This is only part a full installation. Just as important is the installation of the mobile station, or rover. There is a distinct difference between installation on mobile platforms such as construction equipment and installation for land survey or GIS use, which will both be discussed in this article. [Termes IGN] récepteur GPSRésumé : (Auteur) In autumn 2005 Thales Navigation, now called Magellan, launched the latest version of their ProMark range, the ProMark-3. With regard to the ProMark-2 there is the added benefit of a sub meter CIS capability. But is such a combined solution an advantage in everyday use or does this versatility hamper user-friendliness? To find out I tested the receiver in different ways with the ultimate test being a real world survey of a contemporary astronomic observatory in Stonehenge fashion. [Termes IGN] télémètreRésumé : (Auteur) Probably the most important step in the installation of a GPS system is mounting the GPS antenna. One should distinguish between mounting the base and rover. The actual antenna installation has two main aspects: the mounting of the antenna on the survey platform (survey rod, tripod or object) and the position of the survey platform relative to the world. This article focuses on the installation of an RTK base station with a radio telemetry link.
