[Termes IGN] retard ionosphèriqueRésumé : (auteur) The Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) is the recent Japanese satellite positioning system to enhance the positioning accuracy in Japan’s urban areas. Additionally, they provide precise orbit and clock corrections and can be obtained through their experimental signals (LEX), streaming access, and published site. Multi-GNSS Advanced Demonstration tool for Orbit and Clock Analysis (MADOCA) is one of the precise products offered in QZSS services that can be obtained on a global scale. In this study, we evaluated the performance of MADOCA orbit and clock corrections, particularly for real-time positioning applications using LEX signals. Based on the simulation, we predict that 16 countries in the East Asia and Oceania regions will gain the maximum benefit of the LEX signals. However, we stress that one may have difficulties decoding the LEX signals at regions where only one QZSS satellite is observed. During our sailing expedition at Sumatran Sea, we could only decode up to 37 % LEX signals for the observation period. It profoundly increased up to 95 % at Sulawesi Strait where at least three QZSS satellites with an elevation angle of, at its minimum, 40° were observed. The orbit and clock accuracy is estimated to be 5.2 cm and 0.6 ns with respect to International GNSS Service (IGS) final products. Our simulation of using the Real-Time Precise Point Positioning (RTPPP) method revealed that the accuracy of the corresponding positioning applications was less than one decimeter. Further, we compared the MADOCA products for RTPPP applications with Apex5 positioning solutions in static field observations. The positioning accuracy for MADOCA-RTPPP during the field observations was estimated to be centimeter to decimeter level and is slightly worse than Apex5 positioning solutions. Nevertheless, we highlight vast positioning applications using MADOCA-RTPPP, e. g., survey and mapping, smart agriculture, and offshore engineering navigation. [Termes IGN] signal GNSSRésumé : (auteur) Spoofing attacks have become an increasing threat to global navigation satellite system receivers. Existing anti-spoofing algorithms concentrate on the detection of these attacks; however, they are unable to prevent the counterfeit signal, which causes false position and timing results. Some defense techniques require the assistance of other sensors or measurement devices located at different positions. These impose many restrictions on the practical applications of anti-spoofing algorithms. In this study, the multicorrelator estimator, designed initially to prevent multipath signals, is applied to detect and mitigate spoofing. A statistic is proposed for spoofing detection based on the code phase difference between counterfeit and authentic signals. This statistic can significantly reduce the rate of false and missed alarms. Assuming there is no spoofing at the beginning, the pseudorange difference between epochs is derived for spoofing validation, allowing spoofing suppression in a single receiver. Based on this study, an estimation-validation-mitigation structure is presented. A robust extended Kalman filter is proposed to reduce gross errors in the multicorrelator measurements and improve estimation accuracy. Public-spoofing datasets recorded in real environments were used to verify the performance of different parameters. A total of 81 complex correlators were introduced in the experiments. Results show that using the proposed scheme, the position or time offsets caused by spoofing drop from 600 m to approximately 20 m, and the spoofing is mitigated considerably. The proposed method provides an effective anti-spoofing structure that requires only a single antenna and does not require additional sensors. [Termes IGN] Quasi-Zenith Satellite SystemRésumé : (auteur) In this study, a comprehensive assessment of four-satellite Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) constellation is conducted, including the quality of navigation signals, the accuracy of broadcast ephemeris, the availability of satellite constellation, the performance of single point positioning (SPP), the interoperability with GPS, and the inter-system bias (ISB) against GPS. Regarding the signal quality, no significant difference between QZSS and GPS can be found. The signal-in-space ranging error (SISRE) of QZSS satellites is 0.59–0.62 m. The service rate of QZSS-only positioning is 69.8–77.8% in QZSS service areas. A positioning accuracy of 5.70, 3.20 and 6.99 m in east, north and up directions can be achieved for the QZSS-only SPP. After introducing QZSS observations into GPS-only SPP processing, the positioning accuracy can be slightly improved. The ISB with a short-term stability of 1.75 ns behaves like systematic biases, and thus cannot be ignored in the GPS/QZSS combined SPP. This effect reduces signal quality and can lead to a large static positioning error, even the survey-grade receivers are used. Three signal selection methods based on signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) measurements were proposed. The first was the conventional method, based on elevation-dependent average SNR, the second used a moving average of SNR fluctuation and the third method used NLOS exclusion based on SNR residual clustering by the K-means algorithm. To evaluate the positioning accuracy improvement, the static 1 Hz single-point positioning (SPP) test was performed in real-time in two different multipath environments using both dual and quad- constellation GNSS receivers. Trimble and CHC receivers were used at each point to examine the effect on each measurement. Results indicated that the three proposed methods mainly reduced multipath error in horizontal direction compared with the normal SPP. Considering the signal difference of different systems, GPS + Galileo + QZSS + BDS tightly combined double-difference model (TCDDM), including function and stochastic model, is proposed. The proposed model fully utilizes the overlapping frequency signals of various systems, and thus to enhance positioning model when DISBs are known beforehand. The observations of 3 ultra-short (1~10 m) and 3 short (4~10 km) baselines were processed by self-programming software, and the single-epoch single-frequency RTK performance using different system-combined models was evaluated by ambiguity-fixed correctness rate (ACR) and positioning accuracy. It demonstrated that three- and four-system TCDDM were superior to their corresponding loosely combined double-difference model (LCDDM) for ACR and positioning accuracy especially at high cut-off elevation. Moreover, four-system TCDDM had the best RTK performance obtaining average ACRs of 100% and 97.6% even at 25° cut-off elevation for ultra-short and short baseline, respectively.
