[Termes IGN] traitement de donnéesRésumé : (Editeur) This book shows how the vision for open access to scientific data can be more readily achieved through a staged model that research funders, policy makers, scientists, and research organizations can adopt in their practice. Drawing on her own experiences with data processing, on early findings with open scientific data at CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research), and from case studies of shared clinical trial data, the author updates our understanding of research data - what it is; how it dynamically evolves across different scientific disciplines and across various stages of research practice; and how it can, and indeed should, be shared at any of those stages. The result is a flexible and pragmatic path for implementing open scientific data. Note de contenu :

[Termes IGN] International GNSS Service
[Termes IGN] International Terrestrial Reference Frame
[Termes IGN] positionnement par GNSSRésumé : (auteur) This chapter is organized into three parts. The first part is an introduction to space geodesy, the principles of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) geodesy, and the International Association of Geodesy (IAG). The IAG is the scientific association that organizes the space geodetic services that support high‐accuracy GNSS positioning for scientific and societal applications. The most important of the IAG services is the International GNSS Service (IGS), and the second part of the chapter provides a short description of the IGS and its role in providing the geodetic infrastructure and services that underpin precision GNSS positioning. The third part describes one of the most important products of modern geodesy, the Terrestrial Reference Frame (TRF). The chapter also provides a brief explanation of how the International TRF is realized, including some information on the current ITRF2014. Note de contenu : Introduction

[Termes IGN] ville intelligenteRésumé : (éditeur) This book covers a range of topics including selective technologies and algorithms that can potentially contribute to developing an intelligent environment and smarter cities. While the connectivity and efficiency of smart cities is important, the analysis of the impact of construction development and large projects in the city is crucial to decision and policy makers, before the project is approved. This book also presents an agenda for future investigations to address the need for advanced tools such as mobile scanners, Geospatial Artificial Intelligence, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Geospatial Augmented Reality apps, Light Detection, and Ranging in smart cities. Some of selected specific tools presented in this book are as a simulator for improving the smart parking practices by modelling drivers with activity plans, a bike optimization algorithm to increase the efficiency of bike stations, an agent-based model simulation of human mobility with the use of mobile phone datasets. In addition, this book describes the use of numerical methods to match the network demand and supply of bicycles, investigate the distribution of railways using different indicators, presents a novel algorithm of direction-aware continuous moving K-nearest neighbor queries in road networks, and presents an efficient staged evacuation planning algorithm for multi-exit buildings. Note de contenu : 1- Digital twin and cyberGIS for improving connectivity and measuring the impact of infrastructure construction planning in smart cities
