[Termes IGN] précision de la classificationRésumé : (auteur) The performance of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image change detection is mainly relied on the quality of the difference image and the accuracy of the classification method. Considering the above mentioned issues, this paper proposes an unsupervised framework for SAR image change detection in which each pixel is taken as a vertex and the collection of pixels is represented by hyperedges in a hypergraph. Thus, the task of SAR image change detection is formulated as the problem of hypergraph matching and hypergraph partition. First, instead of using the K nearest neighbour rule, we propose a coupling neighbourhood based on the spatial-intensity constraint to gather the neighbours for each vertex. Then, hyperedges are constructed on the pixels and their coupling neighbours. The weight of hyperedge is computed via the sum of the patch-based pairwise affinities within the hyperedge. Through modelling the two hypergraphs on the bi-temporal SAR images, not only the change level of vertices is described, but also the changes of local grouping and consistency within hyperedge are excavated. Thus, the difference image with a good separability can be obtained by matching each vertex and hyperedge between the two hypergraphs. Finally, a generalized hypergraph partition technique is employed to classify changed and unchanged areas in the generated difference image. Experimental results on real SAR datasets confirm the validity of the proposed framework in improving the robustness and accuracy of change detection. [Termes IGN] temps-fréquenceRésumé : (Auteur) The conventional spaced-receiver approach uses amplitude scintillations to estimate equatorial ionospheric irregularity drift velocities. This approach is less applicable at high latitudes where there is a lack of substantial amplitude scintillations. This paper presents a method to estimate ionosphere irregularity horizontal drift velocities based on GPS signal carrier phase measurements. Joint time-frequency analysis of the carrier phase measurements using an adaptive periodogram technique generates time-varying spectrograms of ionospheric irregularity-induced phase fluctuations. Cross correlation of the spectrograms between antenna pairs provides time lag information on propagating radio signals through the same ionospheric structure. The time lag information is combined with known positions of the receiver array, satellite orbits, and assumed irregularity altitude to infer ionospheric irregularity horizontal drift velocity. This paper presents the methodology and demonstrates its feasibility using data collected by a GPS receiver array at Gakona, Alaska. The potential error sources of this method are also analyzed. [Termes IGN] service web géographiqueRésumé : (auteur) QuakeSim has implemented a service-based Geographic Information System to enable users to access large amounts of Uninhabited Aerial Vehicle Synthetic Aperture Radar (UAVSAR) data through an online interface. The QuakeSim Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) profile tool calculates radar-observed displacement (from an unwrapped interferogram product) along user-specified lines. Pre-rendered thumbnails with InSAR fringe patterns are used to display interferogram and unwrapped phase images on a Google Map in the InSAR profile tool. One challenge with this tool lies in the user visually identifying regions of interest when drawing the profile line. This requires that the user correctly interpret the InSAR imagery, which currently uses fringe patterns. The mapping between pixel color and pixel value is not a one-to-one relationship from the InSAR fringe pattern, and it causes difficulty in understanding general displacement information for QuakeSim users. The goal of this work is to generate color maps that directly reflect the pixel values (displacement) as an addition to the pre-rendered images. Because of an extremely uneven distribution of pixel values on an InSAR image, a histogram-based, nonlinear color template generation algorithm is currently under development. A web service enables on-the-fly coloring of UAVSAR images with dynamically generated color templates.
