[Vedettes matières IGN] GéovisualisationRésumé : (Auteur) The importance of the marine environment to human existence makes it imperative that information models represent the multidimensional nature of reality as closely as possible in order to facilitate good governance. Information regarding jurisdiction, as well as the effects of formal law and community interests on the marine environment should be stored in a marine cadastre. The aim of the presented research is to present a concept marine cadastre structure for the EU Member State of Poland as well as show the potential of the application of open standards and Geovisual Analytics for the purpose of marine cadastre data integration, dissemination and analysis with the use of a Geographic Information System (GIS). The paper also presents a sample implementation of the proposed concept in the form of a Web-GIS for analysis and visualisation of risk assessment results in the context of a marine cadastre for the country of Poland.
