[Termes IGN] test de performanceRésumé : (Auteur) The single point positioning (SPP) mode has been widely used in many fields such as vehicle navigation, Geographic Information System and land surveying. For a long period, the SPP technology mainly relies on GPS system. With the recent revitalisation of the GLONASS constellation and two newly emerging constellations of BeiDou and Galileo, it is now feasible to investigate the performance of quad-constellation integrated SPP (QISPP) with GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo measurements. As a satellite-based positioning technology, the QISPP is expected to improve the accuracy and availability of positioning solutions due to the increased number of visible satellites and the improved satellite sky distribution. In this study, a QISPP model is presented to simultaneously process observations from all four Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) constellations. Datasets collected at 47 globally distributed Multi-GNSS Experiment (MGEX) stations on two consecutive days and a kinematic experimental dataset are employed to fully assess the QISPP performance in terms of positioning accuracy and availability. Given that most navigation users are using single-frequency receivers, only the observations on a single frequency are utilised. The results indicate that the QISPP improves the positioning accuracy by an average of 16, 13 and 12% using the MGEX datasets, and 43, 31 and 51% using the kinematic experimental dataset over the GPS-only case in the east, north and up components, respectively. The availability of the QISPP solutions remains 100% even for a mask elevation angle of 40°, whereas it is only 37% for the GPS-only case. All these results are achieved using geodetic-type receivers and they are possibly optimistic for users who use navigation-type receivers. The Level 3 products from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) onboard the Earth Observing System Aura are used as input to a radiative transfer model to predict the TOU radiances and characterize the biases for the measurements over the Pacific Ocean in low- and midlatitudes. The coefficients are derived from a regression algorithm to adjust the TOU radiances. It is shown that, after the measurement bias correction, the biases between the retrieved total column ozone products from the TOU with those from the OMI Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS)-Version 8 products and those from a set of ground-based station measurements are 3 % and 5% , respectively. The variations in the estimated total ozone amounts from the TOU are consistent with those derived from Solar Backscatter Ultraviolet Radiometer instruments and OMI for a period from January 2010 to February 2011. [Termes IGN] visualisation de donnéesRésumé : (Auteur) With the development of geographic information science and the progress in the research of scientific visualisation, the visualisation of multivariate geospatial data has attracted much attention. This paper discusses an IconMap-based visualisation technique that enables multiple geospatial variables be represented in a single raster layer. This is achieved by extending the conventional pixel-based image structure to the three-tiered iconic design. Thereby the spatial pattern generated by the interaction between multivariate geographic variables can be disclosed, and the goal of geospatial data mining is achieved. A visualisation case study on soil organic matter and nutrients for the Shuangliu County of Chengdu City, China, was performed using the proposed approach. The result shows that the static IconMap can better display the distribution tendency of the high-end and low-end soil organic matter and nutrients, and that the dynamic IconMap can both reflect the interaction between the organic matter and the nutrients variables, and display the soil fertility levels in a comprehensive way. Thus, the IconMap-based visualisation approach is a non-fused, exploratory analytical approach for multivariate data and valuable for visually analyse the soil fertility condition. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (Auteur) Integer ambiguity fixing can significantly shorten the initialization time and improve the accuracy of precise point positioning (PPP), but it still takes approximate 15 min of time to achieve reliable integer ambiguity solutions. In this contribution, we present a new strategy to augment PPP estimation with a regional reference network, so that instantaneous ambiguity fixing is achievable for users within the network coverage. In the proposed method, precise zero-differenced atmospheric delays are derived from the PPP fixed solution of the reference stations, which are disseminated to, and interpolated at user stations to correct for L1, L2 phase observations or their combinations. With the corrected observations, instantaneous ambiguity resolution can be carried out within the user PPP software, thus achieving the position solutions equivalent to the network real-time kinematic positioning (NRTK). The strategy is validated experimentally. The derived atmospheric delays and the interpolated corrections are investigated. The ambiguity fixing performance and the resulted position accuracy are assessed. The validation confirms that the new strategy can provide comparable service with NRTK. Therefore, with this new processing strategy, it is possible to integrate PPP and NRTK into a seamless positioning service, which can provide an accuracy of about 10 cm anywhere, and upgrade to a few centimeters within a regional network. [Termes IGN] résiduRésumé : (Auteur) When certain constraints in the kinematic state parameters of a multi-sensor navigation system exist, they should be taken into account for the improvement of the positioning accuracy and reliability. In this paper, two types of robust estimators for integrated and two stages of Kalman filtering with state parameter constraints are derived based on the generalized maximum likelihood Lagrangian condition, respectively. The properties of the two estimators are discussed. The changes of the state estimates and their covariance matrices as well as the residual vector caused by the constraints are derived and analyzed. It is shown by a simulated example that the precision of the state estimates provided by the Kalman filtering with constraints is better than that provided by the Kalman filtering without considering the state parameter constraints; and the robust Kalman filtering with constraints further improves the reliability and robustness of the state estimates.
