To this end a guidance document was produced in 2000–2001 for internal use only. After a succession of revisions this is now published for the first time. It is hoped that, as well as helping authors to prepare papers for submission to the Record, the present list may become widely accepted or, failing that, may lead to correspondence, revision and ultimately a consensus which will be to the benefit of photogrammetrists and those who publish their work worldwide.
