As the spatial resolution is high, IRS IC-1D and LISS III satellite images belonging to three different years were used in the project. In the first stage of the study, geometric rectification process of the images were made. In the second stage, land-use classes were determined by applying classification algorithms on the basis of outer border of the long-term conservation area of Terkos basin. From the classification process and its results, area values were calculated and temporal changes were ascertained. In the last stage of the study, accuracy evaluations has been carried out.
