[Termes IGN] traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (Auteur) With the development of real-time precise clock and orbit products, high-precision real-time ionospheric products have become one of the most critical resources for real-time single-frequency precise point positioning. Fortunately, there are several international GNSS service (IGS) analysis centers, e.g., UPC, WHU, and CAS, that are providing real-time global ionospheric maps (RT-GIMs). We evaluate these maps in detail over 2 years for different aspects. First, the RT-GIMs and 1-day predicted ionospheric products (C1PG GIM) differenced with the IGS final GIMs (IGSG GIM) are performed. Second, ionospheric vertical total electron content from Jason-2/3 data is set as a reference to evaluate the quality of RT-GIMs over oceanic regions. Third, 22 stations, which are not used in the generation of RT-GIMs, C1PG GIM, and IGSG GIM, are selected and the difference of slant total electron content (dSTEC) method is used to assess the accuracy and consistency of RT-GIMs over continental regions. Finally, the performance of RT-GIMs in the position domain is demonstrated based on SF-PPP solutions. The results show that the accuracy of the RT-GIMs is slightly worse than that of C1PG GIM and IGSG GIM. All RT-GIMs and the C1PG GIM have a smaller mean difference compared to the IGSG GIM by (−0.97, − 0.90, − 0.77, − 0.80) TECU for (UPC RT-GIM, CAS RT-GIM, WHU RT-GIM, C1PG GIM). Over oceanic regions, the RT-GIMs perform nearly the same as the C1PG GIM, but a slightly worse than IGSG GIM. The STDs are (3.96, 3.05, 3.25, 3.12, 2.54) TECU relative to Jason-2 and (4.94, 3.24, 3.38, 3.24, 2.65) TECU relative to Jason-3 for (UPC RT-GIM, CAS RT-GIM, WHU RT-GIM, C1PG GIM, IGSG GIM), respectively. Comparing with dSTEC values observed from the selected ground stations over continental regions, the RMS is (4.02, 2.16, 2.29, 1.86, 1.49) TECU for (UPC RT-GIM, CAS RT-GIM, WHU RT-GIM, C1PG GIM, IGSG GIM). In the position domain, the positioning accuracy of SF-PPP solution corrected by the RT-GIMs and C1PG GIM can reach decimeter level in the horizontal direction and meter level in the vertical direction, which is worse than obtained by IGSG GIM. Meanwhile, the positioning accuracy of SF-PPP corrected by RT-GIMs is almost the same as that obtained using C1PG GIM. [Termes IGN] teneur totale en électronsRésumé : (Auteur) Ionospheric delay is a dominant factor that affects the accuracy of single-frequency positioning. Thus, an empirical ionospheric model with high accuracy is very important for single-frequency users. This study proposes a modified empirical broadcast ionospheric model, called MNTCM-BC, based on the Neustrelitz Total Electron Content (TEC) broadcast model NTCM-BC. Nine daily ionospheric coefficients of these models are estimated using datasets of the previous day from 30 globally distributed Global Navigation Satellite System monitor stations, and the prediction performance of the MNTCM-BC is evaluated with the datasets of the current day from all 300 verification stations. The results show that the complex behavior of the ionosphere is well described by the MNTCM-BC, including the visibility of two ionization crests on both sides of the geomagnetic equator and the TEC variations that depend on the local time and geomagnetic latitude. In terms of the prediction accuracy, compared with the NTCM-BC, the main improvement in the MNTCM-BC is achieved in summer, whereas the accuracy is comparable in other seasons. Hence, the following analyses are focused on summer. In the low-solar activity year of 2009, the prediction accuracy of the MNTCM-BC is improved by 0.11 TECU compared with that of the NTCM-BC. As to the high-solar activity year of 2014, the corresponding improvement is 0.35 TECU. In addition, when the number of monitor stations is increased from 30 to 300, the prediction accuracy of two models can be slightly improved by 0.06 TECU in 2009 and 0.13 TECU in 2014, respectively, while reliability enhances. Furthermore, the average three-dimensional positioning accuracy of 160 globally distributed stations for single-frequency point positioning using the Klobuchar model, the NTCM-BC and the MNTCM-BC is 1.83, 1.21 and 1.20 m during quiet day and 3.15, 2.31 and 2.21 m during perturbed day, respectively. Relative to the Klobuchar model and the NTCM-BC, the average accuracy improvements in the MNTCM-BC are about 30 and 3%, respectively. [Termes IGN] signal BeiDouRésumé : (Auteur) The latest generation of GNSS satellites such as GPS BLOCK-IIF, Galileo and BDS are transmitting signals on three or more frequencies, thus having more choices in practice. At the same time, new challenges arise for integrating the new signals. This paper contributes to the modeling and assessment of triple-frequency PPP with BDS data. First, three triple-frequency PPP models are developed. The observation model and stochastic model are designed and extended to accommodate the third frequency. In particular, new biases such as differential code biases and inter-frequency biases as well as the parameterizations are addressed. Then, the relationships between different PPP models are discussed. To verify the triple-frequency PPP models, PPP tests with real triple-frequency data were performed in both static and kinematic scenarios. Results show that the three triple-frequency PPP models agree well with each other. Additional frequency has a marginal effect on the positioning accuracy in static PPP tests. However, the benefits of third frequency are significant in situations of where there is poor tracking and contaminated observations on frequencies B1 and B2 in kinematic PPP tests. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (Auteur) With the development of precise point positioning (PPP), the School of Geodesy and Geomatics (SGG) at Wuhan University is now routinely producing GPS satellite fractional cycle bias (FCB) products with open access for worldwide PPP users to conduct ambiguity-fixed PPP solution. We provide a brief theoretical background of PPP and present the strategies and models to compute the FCB products. The practical realization of the two-step (wide-lane and narrow-lane) FCB estimation scheme is described in detail. With GPS measurements taken in various situations, i.e., static, dynamic, and on low earth orbit (LEO) satellites, the quality of FCB estimation and the effectiveness of PPP ambiguity resolution (AR) are evaluated. The comparison with CNES FCBs indicated that our FCBs had a good consistency with the CNES ones. For wide-lane FCB, almost all the differences of the two products were within ±0.05 cycles. For narrow-lane FCB, 87.8 % of the differences were located between ±0.05 cycles, and 97.4 % of them were located between ±0.075 cycles. The experimental results showed that, compared with conventional ambiguity-float PPP, the averaged position RMS of static PPP can be improved from (3.6, 1.4, 3.6) to (2.0, 1.0, 2.7) centimeters for ambiguity-fixed PPP. The average accuracy improvement in the east, north, and up components reached 44.4, 28.6, and 25.0 %, respectively. A kinematic, ambiguity-fixed PPP test with observation of 80 min achieved a position accuracy of better than 5 cm at the one-sigma level in all three coordinate components. Compared with the results of ambiguity-float, kinematic PPP, the positioning biases of ambiguity-fixed PPP were improved by about 78.2, 20.8, and 65.1 % in east, north, and up. The RMS of LEO PPP test was improved by about 23.0, 37.0, and 43.0 % for GRACE-A and GRACE-B in radial, tangential, and normal directions when AR was applied to the same data set. These results demonstrated that the SGG FCB products can be produced with high quality for users anywhere around the world to carry out ambiguity-fixed PPP solutions.
