[Termes IGN] transformation de HoughRésumé : (auteur) Forest management and planning require information regarding the current state of the forest. Remote sensing techniques allow to obtain geospatial data, also for the forestry sector. As one of the remote-sensed technologies datasets, Terrestrial Laser Scanning data is widely used to derive detailed information about tree and forest stand parameters. This article presents the combination of circular Hough transform, denoising procedure, and robust least-square circle fitting method to extract stem positions from Terrestrial Laser Scanning data. In the proposed approach, initial tree stems position was detected with circular Hough transform. Then, obtained results were denoised to exclude most non-tree trunk points and analyze three-dimensional data from laser scanning to find exact circular tree stems with a robust least-square circle fitting method. The developed algorithm is effective in obtaining the trees’ geodetic positions from laser scanning data. The results generated in this study can be used as basics for further automatic determination of tree characteristics, such as tree species, height, or crown range. In this study, 94.8% tree stems delineation was generated with a mean accuracy of 87.2%, 1.64 cm of root mean square error for stem position, and 1.15 cm for tree radius measured at ground level. The process conducted in this research can be used to detect other circle-shaped objects, such as lamps or power towers, for which obtaining dense Terrestrial Laser Scanning data is available. The detected positions of these objects can power the geographic information systems or thematic industry systems, where it is necessary to determine the geodetic object position results from legal regulations. For this purpose, it is necessary to create a single network, a so-called hybrid network. This paper aims at examining the possibility of using scale-free network theory to determine the most relevant common points in hybrid networks using the distance criterion. Used on European network points: UELN (United European Levelling Network) and EPN (European Permanent GPS Network) and the regional network. In the hybrid network (UELN + EPN), 18 pseudo-nodal points with the highest number of links were identified. The accepted distance criterion shows that about 90 % of the EPN points can be used as common points. The application of the scale-free network theory allows determining the significance of points in a hybrid network. [Termes IGN] téléphone intelligentRésumé : (Auteur) Nowadays, along with the advancement of technology one can notice the rapid development of various types of navigation systems. So far the most popular satellite navigation, is now supported by positioning results calculated with use of other measurement system. The method and manner of integration will depend directly on the destination of system being developed. To increase the frequency of readings and improve the operation of outdoor navigation systems, one will support satellite navigation systems (GPS, GLONASS ect.) with inertial navigation. Such method of navigation consists of several steps. The first stage is the determination of initial orientation of inertial measurement unit, called INS alignment. During this process, on the basis of acceleration and the angular velocity readings, values of Euler angles (pitch, roll, yaw) are calculated allowing for unambiguous orientation of the sensor coordinate system relative to external coordinate system. The following study presents the concept of AHRS (Attitude and heading reference system) algorithm, allowing to define the Euler angles. The study were conducted with the use of readings from low-cost MEMS cell phone sensors. Subsequently the results of the study were analyzed to determine the accuracy of featured algorithm. On the basis of performed experiments the legitimacy of developed algorithm was stated. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) This paper presents ambiguity resolution in the range-based ZigBee positioning system. The system is using the phase shift measurements to determine the distances between user and anchors. In this paper, the ambiguity is defined as the number of full reps of a certain distance added to the measurement result. The way of resolving ambiguities in the positioning system is described and an experiment results are presented. Featured algorithm is successful in finding ambiguities and correct location of the user.
