[Termes IGN] vitesseRésumé : (Auteur) To support precise orbit determination of the altimetry missions, the International DORIS Service (IDS) regularly estimates the DPOD (DORIS terrestrial reference frame for Precise Orbit Determination) solution which includes mean positions and velocities of all the DORIS stations. This solution is aligned to the current realization of the International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF) and so, can be seen as a DORIS extension of the ITRF. In 2016, moving to the IDS Combination Center, the DPOD construction scheme changed. The new DPOD solution is produced from a DORIS cumulative position and velocity solution. We present the new methodology used to compute DPOD2014 and its validation procedure. In order to present geophysical applications and interpretations of these results, we show two examples: (1) the Gorkha earthquake (M7.8 – April 2015) generates a 3-D mis-positioning of nearly 55 mm of the EVEB DORIS station at the Everest base camp 90 km from the epicenter. (2) Applying the results the DPOD2014 realization, we show that the most recent vertical velocity of Thule, Greenland is similar to that observed between 2006 and 2010, indicating further ongoing ice mass loss in the Thule region of northwest Greenland. [Termes IGN] semis de pointsRésumé : (Auteur) Mobile Mapping Systems are now commonly used in large urban acquisition campaigns. They are often equiped with LiDAR sensors and optical cameras, providing very large multimodal datasets. The fusion of both modalities serves different purposes such as point cloud colorization, geometry enhancement or object detection. However, this fusion task cannot be done directly as both modalities are only coarsely registered. This paper presents a fully automatic approach for LiDAR projection and optical image registration refinement based on LiDAR point cloud 3D renderings. First, a coarse 3D mesh is generated from the LiDAR point cloud using the sensor topology. Then, the mesh is rendered in the image domain. After that, a variational approach is used to align the rendering with the optical image. This method achieves high quality results while performing in very low computational time. Results on real data demonstrate the efficiency of the model for aligning LiDAR projections and optical images. [Termes IGN] sémiologie graphiqueRésumé : (auteur) The impetus induced by the development of multi-scale, multi-style maps calls for thinking our resources and protocols with greater interoperability. In the field of toponymy, this requires, in particular, thinking of categories and their structuring with more granularity. Assuming that typography, as a device for visualizing toponyms, is a tool whose potential is still under-exploited, we ask ourselves how the field of typographic design can improve our understanding of toponymic categories and help to structure them in a multi-scale logic. The approach adopted to answer this question is to analyse several existing maps to find good and bad practices. We identified different styles of place names and we built a typology of text features in the surveyed maps. The surveyed maps are the 1 : 35 000 scale, in IGN-France, OSM and GoogleMaps portals.
