[Termes IGN] teneur intégrée en vapeur d'eauRésumé : (auteur) This work aims to provide a quick review of different experiments conducted in the past for the estimation of integrated water vapor content from shipborne GNSS receiver. This state of the art will be confronted with results obtained using GPS data acquired by the French Hydrographic Ship Borda on a cruise over Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, from Brest to Toulon in August 2015; the estimated IWV are compared with satellite observations (MODIS) and outputs from numerical weather prediction models (ERAI, ERA5, Arpege, Arome); while differences between GPS and MODIS retrievals reach almost 4 kg/m2 in terms of RMS, agreement is generally much better with numerical models (2 up to 3 kg/m2 in terms of RMS). Use of real-time orbit and clocks product is also investigated in order to assess the performance of near real-time GPS-IWV estimation for NWP purposes. We will draw out the prospects in terms of possibilities and opportunities for the use of shipborne GNSS IWV for meteorology and climatology. [Vedettes matières IGN] GénéralisationRésumé : (auteur) The usefulness of ontologies for map generalisation and on-demand mapping has been acknowledged by the research community for now more than ten years. But past attempts to build an ontology that shares the conceptualisation views of the community have fell short for now, maybe due to a lack of direct use cases. MapGenOnto is a new attempt to gather researchers around a shared ontology that covers the description of the geography and the map, and also the generalisation processes used to generalise this map. This short paper briefly describes the backbone concepts of this ontology, and then presents a use case to describe cross-platform ScaleMaster2.0 specifications. [Termes IGN] système de gestion de connaissancesRésumé : (auteur This article presents a conceptual model of sport events legacy based on the Olympic and Paralympic Games as a reference. The legacy of mega sport events has gained ever more importance during recent years for both academics and practitioners. The International Olympic Committee looked at the concept of legacy, as it is the best argument with which to illustrate the lasting benefits that are derived from the Olympic Games. The Legacy is the way to structure the capitalization of the benefits and lessons related to the organization of major sporting events. So, our motivation is to develop a tool of the sport events legacy. The aims of the article are first, to investigate the legacy sport events literature, second, to propose a Legacy Conceptual Model (LCM) and to transpose it to a database which will be support to analyse the changes related to legacy. This research target also has a practical implication. So, we investigate how the LCM helps to analyze the legacy left by a sport eve nt using a case study. [Termes IGN] surveillance de la végétationRésumé : (auteur) Time series of optical and Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR) images provide complementary knowledge about the cover and use of the Earth surface since they exhibit information of distinct physical nature. They have proved to be particularly relevant for monitoring large areas with high temporal dynamics and related to significant ecosystem services. Grasslands are such crucial surfaces, both in terms of economic and environmental issues and the automatic and frequent monitoring of their agricultural practices is required for many purposes. To address this problem, the deep-based SenDVI framework is presented. SenDVI proposes an object-based methodology to estimate NDVI values from Sentinel-1 SAR observations and contextual knowledge (weather, terrain). Values are regressed every 6 days for compliance with monitoring purposes. Very satisfactory results are obtained with this low-level multimodal fusion strategy (R 2 =0.84 on a Sentinel-2 tile). Finer analysis is however required to fully assess the relevance of each modality (Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, weather, terrain) and feature sets and to propose the simplest conceivable framework. Results show that not all features are necessary and can be discarded while others have a mandatory contribution to the regression task. Moreover, experiments prove that accuracy can be improved by not saturating the network with non-essential information (among contextual knowledge in particular). This allows to move towards more operational solution.
